I'm a born and raised floridian. People move here not realizing how bad it is. People move here think it's paradise and it is to a point. It's absolutely beautiful. But they need to do their homework. You have to deal with the heat, Hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, gators, diseased mosquitoes and ect. This is what living in florida is like. You run from the water and hide from the wind that's really all you can do. We've been in such a bad drought we need the rain but unfortunately it was too much for too long and this is just the start. We have months and months of hurricane season ahead. All you can do is pray the big one doesn't hit your town.

Great media coverage of this flooding event. Advising folks to leave their cars, the flooded home frustration, higher flooding risks due to large vehicle wakes, and then finally the hopelessness of losing your glasses in the floodwaters. Automotive engineer here who has worked on vehicle level water intrusion. Just because you don’t have an engine to stall out doesn’t mean you can’t do massive damage to the electrical system. Many of the wiring harnesses, connectors, modules, etc are not meant to be totally submerged. This was the case even with combustion vehicles, you’ve just soaked a lot of electronics that really weren’t meant to be submerged. You may drive away but you’ve just set in motion a long term failure of the system from corrosion and moisture issues. Also EV batteries can completely fail if water makes it past the sealed outer structure. Yes they make every attempt to try to seal water out but it can cause shorting and corrosion if it does get in. Most batteries are vented to prevent pressure build up, they aren’t what you would think of as water tight. I would never recommend submerging your car most are just simply not meant to handle it. Only some specialized off road vehicles are designed to ford water, and it takes a lot of driver skill not to destroy the car.

@@JonathanPetramala yes absolutely boats are the best for that! EV's slightly better than Internal Combustion Vehicles, I just don't want people to get the idea that they are fine to go through deep water in. Turning around (if you can) is always the best option. Not an immediate failure in an EV but a long term electrical nighmare afterward. I think an insurance company would total an EV as well if it was in water that deep.

🟢THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the Salvation of the last day that Christ brought in the second and last incarnation of His new and holy name" (Now, I have worked with God's chosen people in China, to reveal all their rebellious dispositions and expose all their ugliness, and this is the context of saying everything I have to say. Those who do not improve will only be comparisons and tools for service, while those who improve will be used. Later, I will take these words that conquered you to foreign countries and I will use them to conquer the people there, but you will not get them. Would you not be compared to that? I have said that sometimes My wisdom is used based on the schemes of Satan. If you do not improve, if you are not made perfect but instead punished, will you not be a comparison? Even though you have been chastened and convicted, you still have not changed in any way, and deep down, you have not gained in any way, and deep down, you have not gained life. When the time comes to test your work, you will experience a trial as fierce as fire and more severe tribulation. As one who does not possess life, one who does not have an ounce of pure gold inside, one who still clings to the old disposition, and one who cannot even do a good job as a comparison, how can you not be removed? Of what use in the work of conquest is one who is worth less than an idler, one who does not possess life? Once all the work of Salvation has been done, there will be no more; what will happen is the beginning of the work of punishing those who are evil. You resist, you rebel, and you do things you know are bad. I'm giving you a chance to repent now, but you don't want to. I do not now remember your past transgressions; I will forgive you again and again, abandoning your negative side to look only at your positive side, because all My words and actions at present are to save you and I have no bad intentions towards you. Aren't such people just waiting for punishment and righteous retribution to come?) Almighty God said Now, I WORK among the people CHOSEN by GOD in CHINA, to reveal all their rebellious dispositions and expose all their ugliness, and this is the context of saying all I have to say. ☀️ AFTERWARDS, when I FULFILL the NEXT step of the WORK of OPPRESSION in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE, I WILL USE MY JUDGMENT on you to JUDGE the unrighteousness of everyone in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE, because you people are the ones who REPRESENT the REBELS to mankind. Those who DO NOT IMPROVE will be COMPARISONS and SERVANTS only, WHILE those who IMPROVE will be USED. 🙏 Why do I say that those who do not improve will only serve as comparisons? ❇️ Because My words and actions in the past are FOCUSED on your ORIGIN, and because you have become the representatives and the example of the rebels to all mankind. Later, I will take these words that conquered you to foreign countries and I will use them to conquer the people there, but you will not get them. Won't you be compared to so? The CORRUPT DISPOSITIONS of ALL MANKIND, the REBELLIOUS ACTIONS of MAN, and the UGLY IMAGES and FACES of PEOPLE---all these are RECORDED now in those WORDS USED to CONQUER you. THEN I WILL USE THESE WORDS TO CONQUER those of every NATION and every DENOMINATION because you are the MODEL, the FIRST. 🙏 However, I did not intend to deliberately abandon you,' if you have erred in your judgment therefore and you prove you can't-- be cured, won't you just be a service tool and a comparison? ☀️ I have said that sometimes My WISDOM is USED based on SATAN'S SCHEMES. Why did I say that? Isn't that the truth behind what I'm saying and doing now? If you are NOT IMPROVED, if you are NOT MADE PERFECT but INSTEAD PUNISHED, will you not be a COMPARISON? You may have suffered greatly in your time, but you still do not understand anything; you are ignorant of everything about life. ☀️ Even though you have been chastened and convicted, you have not changed in any way, and deep down, you have not gained life. When the time comes to test your work, you will experience a trial as fierce as fire and more severe tribulation. This fire will turn your entire being into ashes. As one who does not possess life, one who does not have an ounce of pure gold within, one who still clings to the old corrupt disposition, and one who cannot even do a good job as a comparison, how can you not be removed? ☀️ Of what use in the work of conquest is one who is worth less than an idler, one who does not possess life? When that TIME COMES, your DAYS will be HARDER than those of NOAH and SODOM! Your prayers will do you no good at that time. When the rescue work is over, how can you come back later and start all over again repent? 😥 ONCE ALL RESCUE WORKS HAVE BEEN DONE, THERE WILL BE NO MORE; will take place is the BEGINNING of the WORK of PUNISHMENT on those who are WICKED. You RESIST, you REBEL, and you DO THINGS YOU KNOW ARE BAD. Aren't you the SEVERE PUNISHMENT? 😪 I am making it clear to you NOW. If you choose not to listen, when the disaster befalls you later, won't it be too late if only then you begin to feel remorse and begin to believe? 😢 I'M GIVING YOU AN OPPORTUNITY TO REPENT NOW, but you WON'T. HOW LONG DO YOU WANT TO WAIT? UNTIL THE DAY OF PUNISHMENT? 😢 I DO NOT REMEMBER now your PAST VIOLATIONS; I FORGIVE YOU OVER AND OVER, FORGIVE your NEGATIVE side to LOOK only at your POSITIVE side, because ALL My WORDS and ACTIONS in the PRESENT are to SAVE you and I have NO EVIL INTENT inyou BUT you refuse to ENTER; You CAN'T SEE THE DIFFERENCE between GOOD and BAD and you don't know HOW TO APPRECIATE BEAUTY. AREN'T SUCH PEOPLE just WAITING FOR PUNISHMENT TO COME and be RIGHTEOUS REVENGE? 🙏 From "The Word Appears in the Flesh" Fulfillment of (John 1:1) and (Ezekiel 2:9-10), (Revelation 19:9,13) 📩 All who have "ears to listen" are led to what the Spirit of God is saying in His lowered and built kingdom/Church engraved with His new name, His totality, the ownership of this disposition, "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD "💐 fulfillment from what was said He to Peter 2,000 years ago recorded in (Matthew 16:18-19). His Coming is the fulfillment of all that was prophesied in the great book of Revelation, so the last "Salvation" He brought the whole truth, the way for eternal life. So the "victorious" ones who will receive them are the wise "virgins" because as recorded in the prophecy of His return no one knows it except the one who will receive it! So "come" and come to His kingdom/church standing in the holy place in the air/KZbin! This is also a fulfillment from the book of (Isaiah 2:2/9:6) which He first fulfilled in His first incarnation. 📥 "They say with a loud voice, "Salvation comes from the Lamb, and from our God who sits on the Throne!" (Rev. 7:10). ... and (Isaiah 2: 2 / 9:6) "On the Last Day, the mountain on which Jehovah's temple stands will stand out above all the mountains. All nations will flock there. " . "For a baby boy is born to us. The rule will be given to him; and he shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Almighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." 💌

This!!! I’m from Long Island NY and I have friends who live on the south shore super close to the beaches, and various canals. Every time it rains (not a drizzle but a typical thunderstorm or something more significant) some areas of Long Island have small floods. On the south shore in specific, most of the basements of those homes flood so quickly because their backyards are all water. Even though most of them are pretty wealthy and have the money for water damage and flood insurance, in reality while they’re paying for the views of the water….they’re wasting so much money not even each year but every significant rainfall on flood insurance.

We need to build more sustainability in our communities, not necessarily “green” but homes that can not be impacted by floods like this, or are resistant to fire. Continually rebuilding the same way is ludicrous. The problem is, most people buy a piece of paradise and won’t be able to afford to rebuild sustainably so it’s a never ending cycle for now.

Wow - I live in Everett, Wash. - about 27 years ago we had a really bad snow session. Lots and lots of snow, it was almost New Years, I worked for the Post Office, big bldg., flat roof. About 6 am a carrier said the roof beam is cracking, everyone got to go home. OK, I am watching tv thinking I had a day off and a phone call from one of our Adult Care homes. Water was seeping in through the down stairs slider. I rush over, a little stream is coming in. I call a plumber, he comes out and says it is ground water coming up through the cracks in the cement floor and as the lower kitchen was below ground level, well, it was a mess. I rented two wet vacs plus my own, suck water for hours and finally decide to give up. We had maybe a little over 1 ince of water through out the lower section of the home. Winter, New Years Eve, complaining residents, i was miserable for 24 hours. Then to see these folks dealing with 1 to 4 feet of water in their homes - I had no idea what misery could be. I am 81.

I grew up in Florida, and you will be amazed at the amount of people that will drive to a flooded street to water log their vehicles for insurance claim purposes. Also, people would purposely flood their trucks in boat ramps trying to come out of payments. This is why vehicle insurance is so expensive in Florida.

All of Florida is basically a swamp. I did sinkhole remediation for years there. With huge aquifers,and high water table,there is nowhere for the water to go. It's a sandbar ( island) ,with little elevation, jutting into the open ocean+ Gulf. 10 thousand years ago, there were sharks as big as buses, swimming over what is now Tampa. What you see now,resembles nothing in geologically recent past.
@jagpilotohio
@jagpilotohio Ай бұрын
Actually a lot longer than 10,000 years ago but the right idea. 10,000 years ago was actually much colder and water levels were significantly lower due to bigger ice caps and glaciers. 45,000,000 years ago the earth was nearly ice free and the ocean levels were radically higher.

There are huge glaciers around the world now,Alaska for instance,but it's 100 degrees in Arizona this month.Has little to do with Florida being submerged 10 thousand yrs ago. Ask a geologist, but that doesn't change the fact,that what you see now in Florida,doesn't remotely resemble recent geological history. During that same time frame,there was a huge ice wall,over a mile high,that stretched from now modern Seattle,to now Boston. It suddenly melted ( not from car exhaust lol ) and resulted in mind boggling North American floods.
@jagpilotohio
@jagpilotohio Ай бұрын
@@Bubba-wx7lp my brother. Ocean levels were much lower 10,000 years ago when more water was locked up in ice. Florida was much wider. There are Native American settlements miles off shore under many feet of water that were dry 10,000 years ago. This is not conjecture. This is absolute scientific fact. Try googling “map of Florida shoreline 10,000 years ago”. And then click on images.

Ive lived in South Florida for most of my life. I've seen torrential rains and even hurricanes, but this was the worst flooding I've ever experienced. I had to drive though it on the way home from work Wednesday night. I get out of work after 8 pm, and there was still a bit of light out at first, but it got completely dark soon after, which made the drive even scarier. I would have rather have not driven through it, but by the time I turned onto the street that had been flooded it was pretty much too late...no place to turn around, no place to pull over, so I pushed through, hoping and praying that my car wouldn't stall and that i wouldn't freaking drown inside it. Fortunately, deep as the water was, none of it got inside that passenger compartment and somehow my beat up little 12 year old Hyundai Elantra made it home. Hopefully there wont be any future problems from having driven through all that water, but I'll deal with those issues if and when they arise, Im just grateful to have made it home that night.

Excellent reporting, better than TV stations, you were able to get into homes..the older man on the street was in shock...no pd or fire anywhere around to help him..but why was he on the street anyway?

Thank you! I work hard to get into the real impact areas and tell the people’s stories. All first responders were busy and stretched thin, it’s why we have to make wise decisions bc in situations like this you aren’t guaranteed help.

What's happening across the world is alarming! And it's not normal. But, people are still not paying attentions and praying for God's mercy to falls through for mankind. Because, they are so preoccupied in the sphere of life. But, there will be darker days ahead of us until we take the necessary steps to repent and acknowledge the most high God. 😔 ❤

I think we need to take a step back and realize crazy weather has always existed, we can just see it and are more aware of it than ever because of the internet and smart phones. Check out hurricanes in the 1920s and 1930s. In 1933 I believe a major hurricane hit Texas and the next day, another major hurricane hit Florida. Could you imagine what people would say if that happened this year?

If we are living in a world where there's no God, we better be right. Because, without God it will be nothing else but total darkness and chaos. 😔 ♥

Ahh man this is heartbreaking. I’m in Wilton Manors and thank God we didn’t get it like this, I can’t imagine the suffering they’re going through seeing their things ruined. I would have a mental breakdown I’m sure.
