I am 5.8 tall and not sure weather to get this or 'JOROTO IW9 Compact Foldable Treadmill' that You reviewed sometime back. This one is much cheaper that Joroto. Can You suggest which one You prefer interms of motor noise, features etc. is 17 in width sufficient to jog comfortably? in Canada there is a $320 (400 CAD) price difference (OVICX being the cheaper one) . I am leaning towards OVICX due to the price.
@ChristinaMarie17
@ChristinaMarie17 3 жыл бұрын
Sure thing, and that’s a pretty big price difference! Both of them have a very similar belt length (Joroto 50” and OVICX 49.2”). Ovicx is roughly 3” less wide. Both have a 3 HP motor is nice, and overall if you care for the 10% incline feature the Joroto is a solid option. Quality wise they are very comparable, both have a smooth belt, but with the Joroto it can feel a tad bit shaky when the incline is at its highest. (I’m comparing that to commercial treads at the gym which really isn’t fair!). If you’re more price conscious then OVICX sounds good, and if you prefer a slightly wider belt and incline feature you’ll be happy with the Joroto. Hope this helps!

@@ChristinaMarie17 Thank You 😊. What about the noise? do You find that the Joroto makes more noise compared to OVICX?Also i see OVICX offers lube for the motor/belt. Does Joroto have that? can we lube the belt or motor in Joroto if needed?

Hi, Can I ask you 2 questions please? 1) This model has a function of stopping it's time automatically or not. Like the screen will show you how long you been running and if you step out on the treadmill without pressing the stop button then the treadmill will stop running the time and when you go back on the treadmill will continue timing you're running again. Example you run for 5 minutes then you step out without pressing any buttons on the machine. The running time will stop and continue telling time again when you step both feet on the treadmill like the screen will show 5.1 minutes. 2) can you tell me the width and the length of the phone holder please? Would it be safe to put the iPad. Many thanks

I have the q2s plus, not sure if its the same but 1) yes, it stops the time when you step out and resumes once you go back. 2) mine has 5x12 inches phone holder but only 4x 10 1/2 is usable. Ur welcome.

@@juantagalacad3185 Hi Juan, thank you so much for the information that you replied my questions. The one that they are selling at the moment is Q2S but it doesn't have plus. But it looks and everything else are the same of your treadmill. So I hope that it will stop the time when I step out of the machine like your. Many thanks 😊

Hey there. Thank you for your review! Based on it, I bought this treadmill from Amazon and they shipped the plus instead which seems huge to me for my small space. It's still in the box at a friend's place. Do u know the difference between the QS2 and QS2 Plus. I'm trying to figure out of it's worth the trouble of sending it back. From looking at it inside the box, it look so large! Could you please share any thoughts between the two models? Thank u so much!

Has a 1.5 HP motor as listed on their website. Huge difference and 1.5 HP will last 6 months for 200 lb runners.
@reb1225
@reb1225 Жыл бұрын
The motor has a smart function which makes it variable depending on the speed and demand on the treadmill. The minimun speed uses 1.5 HP while 5 MPH uses the max HP at 3.0.
@bobkrogh1670
@bobkrogh1670 Жыл бұрын
@@reb1225 NO, it is a 1.25 hp motor. All treadmills have high peak power and dishonest companies will list that as HP which is silly. What matters is continuous power (what they can sustain). I opened it up and it has 1.25 hp continuous. This is TINY. It struggles at 8.7 mph and I'm only 160 pounds. I love the treadmill and place 8 inch blocks under the front to reduce the load on the motor. If I left it flat it would last probably a month or two for me because the max speed is my easy pace. Open it up if you doubt me. ☺ ☺ I bought it knowing it had a tiny motor but it was the perfect size and knew I could rig it to work.

@@reb1225 Wow, sorry to hurt your feelings. Funny, how the offended turn to passive aggression to hide their obvious insecurity. It is a 1.25 HP motor and they list it on there site. So, I purchased mine, now I need to know how to take of the phone holder before storing. 😕
@juantagalacad3185
@juantagalacad3185 2 жыл бұрын
Its hard to remove it once you've attached it. You can remove just the translucent part of the holder by unscrewing the screws behind. But if you really want to remove the whole phone holder assembly, after you removed the translucent board, you should be able to see the two prongs that secure the black plastic piece of the holder. Use a fork to pull down the prongs while pulling the piece out. Be careful as it is very easy to break, in fact it's better to leave that piece and just unscrew the board.

I bought this 4 months ago, I use twice a week and now it is slipping/sticking like mad. I followed the instructions on using oil and the only other thing in the instructions that makes sense is the belt centering which are the bolts at the end of the treadmill. The Driving belt adjustment though makes no sense, the diagram is useless as it doesn't direct you to where it is and even worse is that QVICX Q2S instruction videos on youtube BOTH show that the separate adjustments are literally the same? Both videos show using the centering bolts centre AND tighten which is ridiculous as the instruction manual shows they do not......Waste of money, buy a branded one I'm sending mine back. Trash.
