I've found once Atraxa resolves the first time it's a huge uphill battle. If you can kill them first or counterspell it usually that's enough to squeak out a win before she refills their hand.

I messed around with this commander a little bit and ended up using haste goblin lords and goblin token spells, stuff like sorcerer class and big x spells. A touch of goblin synergy works I think but I agree with your build, oops all spells is where you want to be Also forgot he made haste token so I have to revise it without the stuff like crashing drawbridge

That's pretty awesome, never thought of this as a Goblin Commander despite it makes hasty Goblins!

The reason why i decided not to build ovika as a commander is because the ward 3 does not guaranteed protection cuz they’ll always pay the 3. Pay 7 to is a no bueno but i would play it in the 99 of a spellslinger deck like as a boss monster for the late game because they have issues closing out games sometimes. The ability is cool asf tho once you get to untap with it slinging hasty goblins tho but its like that ward 3 shoulda been like ward 7 or ward discard two cards to kinda incentivize them to not want to remove it since it cost 7.

Seven mana is definitely nothing to take lightly. The line was pretty simple here- If I untapped with Ovika I won, and if it was countered or died, I didn't. The more people are prepared for Ovika, the more the latter option will happen.
