God I fucking missed Avast lmao I've been saying this for years, but the Team Peps hype was never warranted. Maybe at first, with the addition of BenBest, FDGod, and Naga, but ever since their debut all they've done is disappoint every single time. One failure after the next, except for that map seven in the Grand Finals in the Summer Series, yet every single time they come back around everyone hypes them up as if they're going to be a top team and they never are. France as a region always finds a way to fumble.

@@juliencamus3523 no, im sure he would have loved to keep the best pieces of the Gaimin Gladiators roster, but yet again I'm seeing people hype up this full French roster acting like they're going to take over Stage 4. This was almost more of a venting comment of feelings I've had for years but never really dumped it anywhere, because I was once on the Peps hype train as well.

@@kahnxo There's a difference between hypin a team a bein a fan of it. I've always loved this team but I've never expeted them to be better or even close to thelevel of SSG or ENCE. Of course you're always gonne find fans that are delusionnal, but it's not the case for everybody And there is this nationalist aspect on your post, suggesting only french people are doing this... I'm kinda tired of this basic french bashing, french people dont think they are better than everybody else god damn... Look at Cloudy's team Sr PeakCheck. I love this team, I watch their games a lot. Watch the tchat next time they play and tell me if you dont feel over hyped while reading it. Sometimes reading the tchat give you the feeling like Cloudy is the greatest genius in the game and they can take down korean teams. And it's nearly a full finnish team, while having a big trashtalker in it with Cloudy. Are they receiving hate for all of this things they can have in common with Peps, not at all. There's only love.

Nice bashing on Peps without knowing anything about the Gamin Gladiators situation. This big organisation came with its money, giving the players and staff a better pay check, gave them one chance, and after that they were gone. It's difficult to maintain the same roaster after going back under Peps name, wich is a small org created enssentially by one guy and his twich community (Féfé ex OWL coach and french streamer) They now have a full french roaster because Féfé cares about his players mental health and paycheck. So he choose a lower budget team in a friendly environment to be able to pay everybody and keep a good mood between the guys. The guy love his team and it's his dream to keep it OW pro scene. For the anecdot, Féfé was also a coach for Mandatory during OWCS debut , wich is a good french Valorant team with a big budget and probably a good paycheck going with it. He accepted to coach for them only if they let him managed his schedule to keep Peps in OWCS, just because he love his community and Overwatch. SO watchin you just insinuating they wanted to break their previous team, a roaster Féfé always praised and loved on streams, just for the love of the flag, yeah right... It's ridicule, and offensive. Seems like you cant have a fresh start without somebody shiting in your boots.
