Yes, it was a bit expensive. We did mention that in the closeout. Probably the highest meal we had the entire trip. But it is a popular place for a reason. The food is good.

I think I left that cord at home, but we found one that will work...Except it's too long and gets in the way. Yes, we have talked about going here for years, and finally made it! It was really good, albeit on the pricey side.

@@NCMemoryMakers I've noticed that the price is what you see when you go to some of the beach areas. A piece of fish will be in the high 20's to 30's. You could get a ribeye for those prices at home. That is why David always says that Captain George's is the best bang for your buck.

It is a nightmare when you're trying to make a video for KZbin. KZbin picks it up as copyrighted music, and they think that we added the music ourselves, which is not the case. They think we are trying to use and profit off of someone else's music. When this happens, I either have to go back and trim that portion out, impose other music with it to confuse the sound, or appeal it. The appeal can take up to 30 days, for them to release the copyright restriction. I really wish restaurants did not just assume that everyone wants a loud concert when they go out for a nice meal. @lyceum4177 I understand your point. But most of the places we go that have TV's, are mostly broadcasting sporting events. If it was something like CNN or similar, I'd be out of there, too. But sometimes it is nice to be able to catch a glimpse of the game if I can't be at home to watch it. I guess with me, the music bothers me more, because the TVs are usually at least turned down very low. The music is deafening Thanks for watching.

Yes, we have been going for a long time, but I have only ever stayed in one place, in all the years of vacationing there. It is on Siesta Key, and here is the link to our 2023 review there. Unfortunately, even though we know there are many nice places in Sarasota, and some of them close to downtown, we always stay on Siesta Key.
