My grandpa was a master angler, he would go up to Canada and be dropped off in a plane and live a tent for like 2 or 3 weeks and just eat the fish they catch. Their target was northern pike, I think his best one was 28 pounds and 48"

Funny story, once I went fishing with my grandfather, and I was using one of those hooks that can catch multiple fish at once, and as a joke, I decided to use hotdog from our lunch as bait, a whole swarm came, and I caught 5 fish, with two on a single hook.

There are places in the UK where I've caught 8 to 9 pound carp. I found the nine pound carp in the isle of Wight. There's a camp site about 5 miles away from blackgang chine which is one of two amusement parks there. See if you can go there after lockdown.

P.S. the fishing pond is at the bottom of the campsite so if you go round past the little playground area and head left from there, you will run into a little extra peice of the campsite. That place is the closest are to the fishing pond which is just through a gate in that area.
