Don't think I've ever been affected by the death of a musician as I have been by Scotts. I saw him when he was just starting out and now that night has more special memories. Godspeed Scott.

I’ve long loved this performance, but I find I come here more and more often to remember him when he was visibly happy. This KEXP presenter managed to bring out a more unguarded and joyful Scott than anyone else in an interview that I can recall. This is the Scott I want to remember dearly going forward.

I discovered FR a little over a year ago and was devastated to hear Scott was no longer with us. I listen to them daily and am still discovering songs. I love Scott and hope he found the peace he so desperately needed. RIP Scott. You will forever live in our hearts 💕

People with very high anxiety, that have learned to hide it socially, are always tense and will constantly read the other person to affirm that they're doing OK in the exchange. No I understand where you are coming from. But in his defence he's an artist and he's free to create music that he sees fit. He doesn't necessarily have to make music that's a huge departure just because people expect him to or because that is the norm for a solo project. He can make whatever kind of music he chooses to. But that's my opinion on the matter.
