I'm seeing a lot of comments from years ago. Time may heal wounds, but it doesn't heal the feeling of loss. We may never have known this man personally, but the feeling of loss remains valid. The world was better with Scott in it, and it's a less artistically beautiful place with him gone. I hope he's at peace wherever he may be.

Without a doubt, the best and most raw humble lyricists to exist of modern music. I’d say it’s a shame they weren’t more recognized but who gives a shit about that. Scott spoke to a side of us that we rarely talk about. A true poet and gentle soul. The world needs more of his humbleness. RIP to the best musician of my generation.
