As someone who's regularly out there at social events, I have come a long way. I used to have such a hard time at those - especially when in most cases i didnt know anyone. Ive read tons of books and materials that helped me and now being on the other side of that - a social butterfly I dare say - i can attest that these tips are legit. I'd even add that setting an intention before arriving at the venue is a good call. Even if your intention is to just have fun - or own the room. Define what you want and watch it happen. Im just back from one of those and my intention was to feel confident in my own skin and beautiful. I had ppl (women who were gorgeous themselves) walk across the room to tell me I looked beautiful. On the other hand, I saw how many women were so concerned about how they looked and stuck in comparison mode that their light was dimm, and all they were emanating was insecurity. Ive been there and it's sad. This is mostly amongst us women. I stopped to reflect on how we're all naturally sexy, especially when we are having fun (in our own energy). The ones that were not were the ones who were too concerned about outside opinions. My fellow women, it's time to rise. Male attention should not be our focus. Your hot girl friend is hot cause she feels good about herself, if we do, we're just as hot.

@@ishitab4856 hey, for sure. Some of the most important ones were "Captivate" by Vanessa Van Edwards, "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie, and "Powerful and Feminine" by Rachel Gayne Groover. I hope it helps! 😊

I absolutely love this comment, how powerful! I completely agree with you, the mindset that you carry will allow you to glow 10x more than the clothes and makeup you put on. Confidence radiates from within and I am so happy my tips have helped you. I think setting an intention before the event is also an amazing tip to add! Thank you for sharing 🤍

Hyping oneself is an easy task but so difficult for self doubting people like me. At first I start with positive things but it changes to negative ones in my mind. How to change that ?

Thank you for sharing your vulnerability in this comment, this feeling is completely normal and we can fix this. Forming the habit of reminding yourself of the things you love about yourself each day is going to day by day allow you to substitute the negative thoughts with better ones. When a negative thought comes up, observe it but do not claim it, replace it with a better thought each time.

Yeah for example just before my menstruation I just wan’t to be seen by nobody😂 ladies don’t put too much pressure on yourself and learn to live in harmony with your feminine cycle. Have a good estime of yourself and don’t be obsessed with being confident every time and everywhere you go🫶🏻

Definitely listen to your body and lean into this feeling! Have a "no" day or a rest day is actually very healthy and normal. Deal with it the best way that you know will be right for you and when you are ready get back into your daily habits of good feelings and emotions.
