That’s why I always say you can be a married single parent or a dating single parent. Because it’s true! Just because you’re together and physically in the home don’t mean you’re an active parent. However, if this is something they agreed on then unfortunately it is what it is. Many people make the same agreement; the woman is a stay at home mom, the man is the bread winner. Then you start realize that being a stay at home mom or parent in general isn’t as easy as it seems. I know a woman who played multiple roles. She worked part time when her son was an infant, then stayed home for 2 years and then realized she made more than the dad and he hated his job so they agreed he’d quit and stay home while she worked. Yes, there are drastic difference between a single mom and a single stay at home mom. Typically single parents don’t have the “luxury” to stay home, whereas single stay at home parents do because they have that partner that’s working.

Tisha looks vastly different to me compared to now versus four years ago. She has been rapidly leveling up on her professional development and outer appearance. Tisha's personal development has been moving more slowly along but not enough emotional maturity. One thing that would help facilitate her healing is personal accountability for her actions, words included and removing the rose colored glasses concerning her personal relationships with her husband and mother.

I applaud Martel for bringing Melody to the golf meet-up, which was initially was supposed to be for him and the fellas. There were some concerns that Martel was breaking the guy-code by bringing his wife to the golf course. However, on the other hand, what needs to be understood is that when two people decide to get married, they are no longer two people. They are one flesh now. Two minds thinking as one.
