@@UTAH100 they took her to the appropriate place which was the trauma vet, they just couldnt afford the high price those places charge upfront. when i had to take my dog to the emergency vet for trauma surgery, the upfront cost was $6,000.

Their first decision was to KILL that sweet pup and that is evil. If you pulled bicep or tore your shoulder with all that working out you do- should someone put you down...or let you live? I would hope the latter. This dog deserved the same. Sadly every year thousands are murdered by people who think like you. So you deserve love, rehab and a chance to live but a dog doesn't. Right. I really hope you do not have a dog. You do look in great shape though- carnivore diet?

Kora knows you love her 100% cause of your actions and the sound of your voice when talking to her. My mom had a dog that died a little over 2 years ago that I would watch when she went on trips with her BF. The dog and I had that loving bond that words were not needed. Even after little more than 2 years since her death it still hurts cause I still miss watching the dog.

You guys rock! As a mom to a rescued former LSG Great Pyrenees, who spent her entire life outdoors, I can attest that they acclimate instantly to being indoors and loving it! My girl came from Oklahoma to Chicago when we adopted her and she loves the winter, snow and finding every possible cold spot to plop down on in the house even though we keep it at 60°F year round. She’s super smart, sweet and so very silly and she can somehow determine that when a UPS/FedEx truck stops that if the package is for us or one of the neighbors because she comes to an alert and gets huffy and starts barking at the door. She is spot on 100% of the time. What’s funny is that she should be happy because most of the time the packages aare for her! I figure one of these days she’ll put that together. LOL. Thank you for not giving up on this dog and saving its life. So often farmers will dump their LSG dogs off property intentionally when they’re no longer of use, or simply kill them. Very few farmers put them into rescue and I wish all of them would once they no longer need or want the dogs. I’m grateful that my dog’s previous owner did the right thing.

All working dogs deserve to have a comfortable retirement. If you can't provide that yourself, you should be reaching out to find someone that will. It's the least bit of gratitude you can show an animal that worked hard for you for food and sometimes not even proper shelter all their good years. 🥺

Not to mention the many dangers of being attacked by a wolf, coyotes, or even bad people who see a dog who is an easy target at night alone to steal/poison/shoot when you are sound asleep and oblivious in your home. My brother and I were so grateful to Dad for taking us and him to the vet and spending some $40 on him for his emergency repairs and a neutering. That was a large amount to spend at the time.
