Rest In Peace my kitty baby girl Ema. My wife & I lost her 02-27-16. It's hard, my wife & I can't have any children so when my wife chose Ema we treated her like our own daughter from being a baby bottle feeding, making her poop, all the things a mother & father would do for their own child. Not even 7 years later & she passed on us. I have her image of how she looked burned into my head & it won't leave. I feel so empty w/out her especially when I go downstairs or in the mornings when I wake up. We do have 3 more cats but Ema, I feel like I lost my only daughter I have w/my wife & it hurts. I'll miss the heck outta her. I've asked the Lord to give me a sign that she's ok, well yesterday after my wife got her RIP tattoo of Ema done, before that it was snowing heavily, after it was done when we came outside, the storm was gone & most of the roads were clear. We just were in shock. I won't talk your head off people, just know this stuff hurts! & I don't wish this pain even on my the worse of them all. Too sad!

My dog is 17 and I know his time is coming soon. I know he's lived a wonderful life and I've received so much love from him. He's my best friend and although he has not passed yet, I still cry thinking about it. I wish our pets could live forever with us on our journey through life.

I know the feeling. My oldest girl Nova is only 3, and yet I know in the back of my mind that goodbye could come at anytime and that hurts like nothing else. Because I know that there may be nothing I can do about it and because i know that she may fine today but who knows what tomorrow will bring and Tora isn't even 1 yet but again goodbye could come at anytime even for her.

my cat, my soul mate, my other half, is nearing the end of her time on Earth. she'll be 17 come July, and that scares me. she's thin, oh so thin, yet still eating and drinking. she worries if i'm not home when i should be, and searches the whole house, crying for me. soon, the tables will turn. i will be the one looking for her, crying out her name. my cat is more than a pet, she's my family. i know ppl say animals don't have emotions, but i swear on the Bible, my cat does. i am not ashamed to say i talk to her.

I lost my dog many years ago now but yet I know that she caused grandma to find our two cats in time for them to live out their lives with us. Hi Kitty, I'm sorry to hear that you feel like you want to die, that's sad to see, I hope your happy now, I lost my little friend binky just over 3 weeks ago, and ya the pain is real, but time does heal although i'm still grieving for her and its feels awful, I know people have been through this before me and are better now, i'm thinking of fostering little kittens now and hopefully will have the chance to give another animal a forever home, I also hope that you found another fur baby to love, I will pray for you to Jesus and ask Him to heal your heart if your still sad, take care

This was nice to read.. my cat.. no my baby boy passed away today.. hearing that he did I really had nothing to live for.. he was my first friend in years, and for 8 years I had him.. he was 9 when he died.. I now have a new cat but she was born a stray.. and I will take the "give my dish" thing seriously.. I plan to switch her bowl with his just so I have a little piece of him still with me.. again this was wonderful.. thank you.

I am crying so hard while wathing this. Today I lost my rottweiler Obi. He was 4 jears old. I lost my best friend, my dog, my everything. On school I'm getting bullied and everytime I came home, he was there . I would be crying on the ground and he would come to me and lay his head on my lap. He could make me smile when no-one else could. No pet can ever replace him. I want him back even tho i know it's not possible. Marius Nesser my cat is dying of cancer, because no one ever had her fixed. She's at the hospital now. I'll say my goodbyes soon. Still have my other cat, but shes 14 now. My friend who lives up the road saw a cat who looked exactly him, she called his name, he turned around starting walking towards her, her dog came out, he ran, that was a month ago though. I saved him from a home with owners who barely fed him, he came home cold, smothered with fleas, on the verge of death, only a kitten. i lost my pug-pom Yoda today (1-22) . He'd had mast cell tumors and I knew it was coming, but when I realized that today was THAT day, it just made me so sad. It was worth every moment of his life with me, including today, the saddest goodbye, and if I had the choice between doing it over, exactly the same, or never having loved and known him, I would always choose to have been with him, even realizing what was to come. I think on some level, we're always aware of it, really, and we all sign on for this part of loving them as well. I hate that this happened, but I love that I was lucky enough to be his friend. I cannot wait to see him again.

I lost my dog, Austin this passed Friday. I’ve never really had to deal with death. I’ve had losses as a young kid, but I was too young for it to affect me like losing my best friend. Burying him was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. Especially after being an hour late to comfort him and say my final goodbye due to working out of town. He slept with me every night as a puppy after my fiancée left me and I couldn’t even get out of bed. He’s been there for me through my lowest times. I miss him so much.
