I always say this, but I'll say it again Italy and France are my favorite places to see in your explorations. Thank you for such a high quality Video as well it looks so vivid we get a clear view of everything so professional. A big thumbs up Lesley and Danny.

An absolutely fascinating place with so many exquisite antiques ! I really love the ceilings, the paintings and that cabinet with its beautiful glasses! The lily is the symbol flower of Florence, indeed!🙂 There's always a gorgeous garden with statues or fountains at an Italian villa or palace! 😍 Thank you,Lesley and Danny for this great episode! ❤

That's such a SHAME that some of those Oil Paintings are going to be RUINED!!!! You have to SPECIALLY CLEAN them when they get dark like that. The Furniture and Statues. Yeah, they OBVIOUSLY had money. And the Garden Area with the Arched Entryways, or whatever they're called, JUST INCREDIBLE!!!! Thanks guys for taking us along on your Journey!!!! STAY SAFE!!!!

The ceilings are called "coffered" because they are shaped like the lids of coffers, or little chests for valuables. The trompe l'œl bit in the salon is really nicely done. How sad the family can't agree on what to do with the property. Bet there's someone who wants to save it, and someone else who wants to turn it into office block and stores since it's in a city center. TYVM for the fun tour.

I can give you hints of how to tell Antique furniture from Vintage or modern Vintage. Antique furniture that has any wood carving or surface will have imperfections in the construction of the piece, because they are handmade many of the corners where wood aligns to make one symmetrical piece will not be perfectly aligned. They will be slightly offset due to the craftsmanship. All furniture in the mid 1800s and earlier will be all handmade. The wood surface will also lose it's shiny luster after some time because of the shalack used to seal and add color to the wood. Also, look for a handmade thick cardboard tag nailed into the wood or burned into the wood by the creator of that piece. Vintage furniture is different in the sense that most all furniture from the early 1900s and on where manufactured in a factory setting. The wood used will not be as sturdy or beautiful as wood such as Mahogany, Walnut and Rosewood. These woods were heavier, sturdier and prettier to the eyes... later in the early 1900s they used a variety of sturdy wood such as Amboyna, Oak, Mahogany, Satin Birch. As time went on Cherrywood,Cedar, Oak and pine. Also, each piece of wood aligned perfectly due to manufacturing techniques as do the buttons and appliques sewn into the fabric. Handmade furniture will most often have extremely intriguet patterns sewn in rather than printed. Labeling is also different as there will be a Manufacturers stamp or implanted onto the piece. It will say "Manufactured by Hills Brothers" (something to that effect). Anything recently made by a manufacturer will most likely have plastics used somewhere on the piece unless it states otherwise. Many people assume that because a piece is designed to look antique or vintage that it mostly is... that simply isn't true. The proof is in the artistry of the carpentry and craftsmanship of the work.

A truly very memorable and entirely amazing explore video! I absolutely loved rewatching the video! Take care and stay safe, bro! Peace, many hugs and kindest regards.

Simply amazing!!! Sad that whatever the dispute, it can’t be settled in a manner conducive of both parties 👍🙏❤️ Sad to lose all of these precious family memories, pictures, memorabilia, keepsakes, precious memories…all such a tragic loss if allowed to happen 😔😥 At least the parties should allow the clothing to be donated, precious artifacts to museums & libraries or cultural institutions! I hope that the collection of the successful people that collected these treasures would not have done so in vein😔😥 These people had a beautiful & successful life…May it not all have been for nothing 👍🙏❤️ Thank you Leslie & Danny for yet another amazing adventure!!! I enjoyed every minute of this once perfect, pristine, glorious lifestyle 👍🙏❤️ You guys are the best 👍🙏💕 Love from Arizona USA❣️
