RE: 2018 vs 2022: It's worth mentioning that the 2018 has 36 mm throttle bodies. 2021 and later have 40 mm throttle bodies. On my ZH 2, I went from a 2020 standard to a 2022 SE version. The 2022 is about 3 or 4 mph faster.

the funny thing with this bike is the throttle and power delivery are so smooth and predictable I see no need to switch to rain mode in rain. I do it anyway but it would be fine without it except when you speed.

Having had my MY2018 H2 SX SE Performance Tourer since 2019 I'm just about to replace it with a new MY2024 H2 SX SE Performance Tourer. There really isn't any bike that gets close in delivering so much.

Hey, thanks a lot for your video! I have a 2018 SE and was wondering how you feel about the semi-active suspension. Is it worth the upgrade?
@reddevil0074 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. The 2022 wasn’t an SE so only had manual suspension same as 2018 SE. The 2022 standard SX effectively is the old SE and the new SE is equivalent to old SE +. Having had other bikes with semi active, I would go for it I could afford it

Hello, thanks great video. I would like to know if it is comfy for the pillion but also for you with a pillion on for a long trip. Thanks in advance.
@reddevil007411 ай бұрын
Hi. Sorry but I don’t ever ride with a pillion so couldn’t comment. Seat seems comfy and peg position when I have sat on rear seat seems ok. Would probably advise to have in rain mode so you get the softer throttle response to save the pillion feeling like they are being fired off the back. If I was a pillion I would be happy to go on back but would probably want a top box so I had a back rest behind me.

Hey there, quick question please, helpful video by the way! The pipwworx you bought, did you say it's the 380? If so how do you deal with the mot, does it go through fine? I want one but don't really want a 380 if it won't pass the mot. Thx!
@reddevil0074 Жыл бұрын
Hi Jason. I’ve never got to MOT time so never experienced the issue. However I’ve spoken to a few and the problem is if they are stamped not for road use and the MOT tester can see that then it’s a fail. These aren’t stamped and with baffle in should easy pass

Hi mate another good video 😊 as you know I've a 2018 sx se, just lovin it. Is there any difference with your new one on the handling & performance compared to your 2018 ?
@reddevil0074 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for comments. Performance and handling seem to be the same. I’m not sure whether the newer model is as comfortable as my 2018. Just feels a little more weight on wrists. It could do with the Stylema Brembos that are fitted to the top spec version. Brakes are good but do need a good hard grab of the lever to haul all that weight to a stop

@@reddevil0074 that's interesting, what about the keyless ignition, yet you need a key for your panniers if you have them
@reddevil0074 Жыл бұрын
@@anthonylee5003 the keyless is a waste of time as whilst I don’t have panniers you need it to open the fuel cap. It’s also a weird system where you have a switch you need to push down then move. Feels if you get it wrong you could break it. Works well on cars but for bikes it’s just something else we need a place to find to put the key where we won’t loose it
@anthonylee5003 Жыл бұрын
@@reddevil0074 yes I'd heard people saying it was a waste of time, and you have confirmed it. As for panniers you can get a fantastic set of Amazon that look great and do the business, my wife has a pair & here's the thing about £40, the quality is as good as the expensive ones

I am looking to upgrade to this bike from my Multistrada 1200. Looking at the first gen SE+ with the stylemas, I don't need the radar and blind spot monitoring and i do prefer the look of the first one. How would you say the suspension is out of the box? I re spring all my bikes for my weight,I weigh 90 kg

It seemed all ok to me. With SE plus doesn’t that have electronic suspension, so should automatically adapt

did you find any differences in power delivery or work of transmission? is a new headlight better?
@reddevil0074 Жыл бұрын
No power delivery seemed very similar and gearbox no changes. Never used at night so can’t comment on the headlight. If you have a pre update model then I wouldn’t change just for sake of it

@@reddevil0074thanks for the answer. I am just considering about this model, bikes with small mileage and in good condition are very similar in price in my place, so i wonder if i should buy 22 or 18-21 btw what about aggressive throttle response?
@reddevil0074 Жыл бұрын
@@4ce59 road and rain mode it isn’t that severe. Most of time I just left it in Road mode. I think brakes need to be the full on Brembo Stylema’s on all models as the others struggle to pull you up when pushing on through anything a little twisty
