Thanks for making the video. I was hesitant to install my bov until I found your video. It went smoothly. I didn't remove the tank completely, I propped it up with a scrap 2x4 while I changed the valve.

Someone on H2 forum used the bov return pipe as a 2nd air intake by adding a filter to it.

Glad I found this vid.. I thought my newly bought h2 sx was broken as it makes this noise when letting off throttle checked and realized previous owner fitted a bov! Being honest I don't like the sound as it's caused me a panic attack thinking I'd been has over.. maybe I can get used to it . But I'd prefer the chirping bird noise instead.. might have to source parts to return to stock!

Fitted the valve to the ZH2 you don’t even need to remove the tank 😊

​@@tkdruss69 I tried doing this today on my ZH2. I disconnected the return hose and plugged the connection on the "airbox" side. Sadly this did not make any difference to the stock BOV sound. Next ill try to remove the return hose completely and see if that helps.

7:14 I tried it with the stock one and blocked the hose, it didn't make any noise even revving to high rpm... it's almost like it didn't even open at all. Guess I'll be buying one of these.

Well that kind of makes no sense does it? They are both blow off valves connected to the same vac line.

@@FarmerBrianTee that's what I thought too? But it didn't make any noise... Redlined it as well... Someone else on forums said their OEM one didn't make any noise either. TurboSmart bov arrived yesterday from ExtremeCreations so I'll test it again before and after changing with hose block off cap on back of airbox...

Perhaps because the spring in the original bov is stronger, hence requiring that back pressure from the return hose.

@@gearedtoride8527 yeah maybe the springs are different, either way I fit the TurboSmart BOV and been squeezing unequivocally obnoxious noises out of it ever since 🤣
