Keep them coming dude, Peace.

hell no I have done an induction, software, Intercooler and Full exhaust. I haven't been on the dyno recently but before the full exhaust I was making 206kw and 456nm. they have put a different tune on with the exhaust so I think it should be making about 215kw and just under 500nm

Lowering these on springs only and you say it feels fine. Try adding Bilstein b8 shocks and the difference is amazing. I've got a 300bhp jobby and I think that's more than enough power without adding a limited slip diff. I've also upgraded the brakes as it can get a bit squeaky bum time at speed. Most fun and fast car I've ever owned. mpg is shockingly bad but it's a small price to pay for all that noise and pops and bangs. Nice video by the way mate

I own one and love it. I was looking at a megane 225 after having a clio sport before but wasn't finding great examples for my budget. Found a nice st that had been looked after low mileage belts done etc. So I got it I'm now six months down the line and I love it. So far it has a forge recirc is lowered on bilstein suspension and has a dreamscience remap and cold air intake. Next bits for it will be some exhaust mods and definitely a bigger intercooler as the o.e one is tiny! Keep up the channel and the good work!

I bought st because my old toy was a mk2 Astra get, and the fun I had in that was beyond exciting, 4 year rebuild project whit 100 shot of nitrous, sadly when I was doing my videos clutch was slipping new clutch and it shocked everyone, but a family split and a move and the fact I had nowhere to continue to complete any work so I let her go, bought 14 plate gtc which was nice but a bit flat, and I wanted the fun back, and the focus was one of my sons favorites and after a test drive I bought mine on the spot, 09 plate 60k but she drives perfect in every way, 3" turbo back no cat derived fit atmospheric dump valve, cold feed intake, she's having large fmic set for 3rd Oct standard wheels at the moment on 25mm spacers all round, 19s going on next year, with 1000cc injectors then remap to 330 I hope, other bits front lower upper grills, front splitter, I have bonnet vents just got to get someone to set em on fo me, I'm on my second exhaust now and she sounds fantastic with the DV blowoff, may even install my nitrous kit just for show, and I call my blue lady 'Hummingbird' 👍

I have a 2008 Ford Focus ST, near looked back since if anyone else is getting one or has one I would suggest getting the cobra (Venom Range) exhaust it's fairly loud but give the attention your asking for in a ST. Bearing in mind I'm 19 so want the attention 😜

I was lucky enough to have a choice, i test drove a couple ST's and found they were a little bit cheap feeling compared to the VXR and Seat Leon Cupra. I ended up buying the Seat and haven't regretted it, I do love the looks of some Focus ST's but i see so many molested examples around where it live it ruined them for me. Driving around now I haven noticed how common they are but they don't stand out that well, Some ST's have been done up tastefully around my area and when you come across them I still look twice.

I purchased an ep3 a couple of months ago (after wanting one ever since I was 17) can honestly say even now I'd still choose it everything over a focus st or astra vxr. its hard to explain but it just has that fun factor you don't quite get from others. You can tell honda spent a long of time and engineering to create it and it shows I absolutely love it. I have nothing against focus 's or astra's at all but the ep3 was always my first choice.

bit of a late comment, good alternative is the volvo s40/c30 T5 as that st has a volvo engine 😉 I have the S40 as it's more discrete than the St but just as fast and modded similar.
@rextetron
@rextetron 8 жыл бұрын
I've got an S40 T5 AWD R-design manual with BSR intake and ECU tune. Also fitted with Eibach lowering springs. The engine sound is great and it also goes pretty nicely - when it's slippery too. I also think that the S40 (also C30/V50) looks damn good, such as the ST. However the Volvo seats are on the comfy side, and there are no real sporty feelings in the cabin. It's definitely not a track day car, but a nice, fast, awesome sounding quick cruiser.

If you want to turn traction control fully off on the ST, you have to be stationary and hold it down for 10 seconds, until the light goes off then you will see how good that car handles. I miss my ST a little bit, i dont miss being part of the chavvy culture that is every ST owner popping and banging the car. so boring.

I've had a 3 door ST3 MK2 Facelift for quite a few years. I've done about 25K miles and I generally drive fairly normally. Maybe normally is the wrong word to use? as I don't rag it everywhere :). I replaced all 4 tyres not long after purchase and I've since gone through another set of front tyres (probably due to soon be replaced + the rears will need replacing again very shortly (It's about £120 a corner @ main dealer) I get roughly between 300 to 220 miles per tank - depending on how much motorway driving, or how many GTI's I encounter :) I have had the clutch master cylinder replaced twice. once under warranty and the other outside of the warranty of the aforementioned replaced cylinder (approx. £300 main dealer) + 1 battery. I have most of the manufacturer upgrades that come with a ST3 + keyless entry, the Bluetooth RS Sat Nav that incorporates the heating controls. I also have the Mountune exhaust. Jamie_FYD is absolutely right in this video... it makes all the difference and sounds great! The standard exhausts are quite tame in comparison. Personally I wouldn't want a 5 door, nor a non-facelift and I found that without the leather and stereo it isn't quite as nice inside. The MK3 ST is much nicer inside and gets a slightly better MPG, but without a 3 door option and minus a cylinder it kind of evens it up. It is very comfortable on long journeys and it predicts you'll get about 400MPG on its 50 litre tank.... if you stick to 60MPH. I've never quite managed to do this, but it's probably right. Driving around town is fine, if you have the 3 door you might be advised to be choosy where you park. the doors are big and other drivers like to snuggle up next to me - making it tricky to get in. I still enjoy it. I liked the idea of owning a VXR - which is a bit quicker in a straight line, but it looked quite similar to my partners fairly speccy old Astra inside (not the seats of course). the road Tax bracket was also more appealing than a EVO, as was the service intervals. I thought the Golf looks slightly less exciting, both inside and out - albeit a highly rated car by some. IIRC speed wise it's somewhere between around a 325I, but I found you get more gadgets and less miles on the clock for similar money. Hope this helps in someway

@MrMstevie192 7 жыл бұрын
Thanks 😄 Was just asking since I'm going to upgrade from my nightmare 207 THP 150. Looking for something with power (not that I drive a car hard), that's practical and reliable. My 207 was in the garage 11 times within my first year of owning it. Timing chain, egr valve, faulty temperature warnings etc etc. So this time I'm trying to do as much research as I can. Got a budget of £7000. Would have went for a WRX but its hard to find one that's unmodified and doesn't have excessive miles

Stephen Malloy OK mate. I'd imagine it'd feel quick compared to 150bhp. it has beyond diesel levels of torque, it'll go from 40mph in 6th to 130mph in no time at all (according to my friend) I guess you can get lucky or unlucky with cars, but mine has been okay and I think that's generally the reputation. Might be wise to avoid a orange one. Good luck mate
