Mk2 focus is an awesome car. Great value for money. The engine is unbelievable. Me personally I would upgrade the upper front grill as well and add a rear diffuser to that unit. A remapped ECU is highly recommended too.

I have had my 08 facelift ST in performance blue for about 3 weeks now and absolutely love it. Its got a mountune catback exhaust and a group A induction kit from auto specialists including the slam panel and air feed. Planning early next year it will be going to dream science to get the block mod done. Mine is on 108k miles atm but came with a lot of documentation which was good. Don't drive the hell out of it with living in London but my drive through wales last weekend was really nice and it sounds awesome when the turbo kicks in when you give it the beans :) Tomorrow it goes in for new rubber all round.

absolutely awesome cars, I've had 3 now and just love that 5 pot growl, 320bhp 400 lbs torque, b12 coilovers miltek sports cat and down pipe, kms thunderstorm, pro alloy intercooler, ds induction, mountune recirc and mountune plenum and the block mod,she flies great review, you really do show the fun in your face driving them with that grin. good video bud keep it up I love these.

I've got a 2007 Volvo C30 T5 which has essentially got the same engine as an ST or RS. Quite a rear car to find. I'm getting it tuned next week hopefully to 275 bhp and 450nm of torque. you're more than welcome to take it out for a drive if you are in the Glasgow area. 😊

I have a facelift ST in black with all the extras and I love it, had it just over a year now and it's running about 330bhp and 400Ib-ft, loads of things done to it and its still easy to drive round town and plod around and when you want to have some fun it just turns into an animal, love it. Touch would I have had no problems at the moment.

You couldn't have made this video at a better time! Just bought an '56' plate one myself in the same colour and I love it. its an ST2 but seriously don't mind, my first petrol car as well! Had a string of bad luck with BMW e46s with my last one being a 330d m-sport and after owning the ST for a week I already prefer it, you can just tell how good it is when you corner round roundabouts. Much less roll and more comfortable. look forward to your follow up video mate!

Love your video's dude . my friend has a fully forged ST 3 running 350 bhp at the wheels, upgraded turbo,exhaust, map. Its very quick yet the torque steer is really reasonable for the extra 125 bhp

Nice review mate, as are all of your videos. I had a blue 07 ST 4 door here in Australia. Had it lowered with a set of black 19" RS500 wheels, air intake etc, but I get what you mean about the gear shifter position, I don't think I would buy another one because of that! Harsh call I know. I own a 2006 black st2, red and dark grey hard wearing cloth interior. dont get me wrong, i love the leather in the st3 but needed the 3rd belt option in mine so cloth it was. still very nice seats and comfortable. 3" cat back. none resonated pops and bangs for fun with k&n panel filter, just on 100k miles, full history and goes very well. fancy a remap and maybe fmic' but need to change my clutch as its sitting very high and does not like you resting your foot on it under load. nice review btw 🖒

Always wanted a orange ST3 I would get the mk2 model though that started in 2008 I believe looks much nicer, However after reading owners reviews that have slated there fuel economy averaging 23mpg put me off getting 1. After having my Mazda 6 MPS that drank for fun I was never out the petrol station getting 24mpg and 27mpg if you granny drove it! Which is no fun, and kind of takes the enjoyment out of owning cars like this. I like a car that makes you want to jump off the couch and just go for a nice drive not worrying about how much fuel it drinks everytime u put the foot down. Still like these though and the colour in the sun is so eye catching!

I completely agree with you about your comment on the police. They're regularly hiding in bushes with cameras trying to catch people speeding round my way. Tbf they aren't as bad as they are in some areas but I think speed limits should be allowed to be broken a bit more lol, without worrying about getting done. Only takes 6 points to lose he license in first 2 years!

The problem with some cyclist is: they tend to ride not line but rather in a row if you understand what I'm saying. Makes the traffic worst if they are riding at sheepwalk pace. If myself is a cyclist but, more considerate to other users as well.

Another in a long line of great cars we don't get here in the states. I think this was the engine in our C30 T5 Volvo at one point but they were pricey if I remember.

The Roadwarrior It would only get driven at weekends and on fun/quiet roads when I can open the taps a bit. It would just be kept as a toy really. Fuel economy isn't a major factor and I am quite heavy footed to be honest, I only get 40mpg from my Mondeo and others say they get 60mpg. Yeah and the noise. People have described them as mini V10's, which sweetens the deal more for me as my favourite car is a BMW M5 E60. Only thing is I am tenpted by: Mazda 6 MPS, Mondeo 2.5t, Leon Cupra R and BMW 330d. Would love a panther black one to match my Mondeo though.

The Roadwarrior £5k, I estimate (could be more or less). Won't be buying until the Summer. Mod wise, will look to spend another £1k or so in the following year: remap, exhaust, cone filter and other visual mods. Looking at prices on Auto Trader, Focus ST's are going for 5k with roughly 80-100k on the clcok. Mondeo MK4's with the same engine can be had for the same price with half the mileage, which makes me think are they worth it?

I had a mk3 st-2 with all the extras and tbh loved the car but the upgraded Sony stereo = absolute shit and 8ts the same in the m3 rs I had to put a kicker comp 40 in the boot just to add bass so to all who buy any st or rs really don't waste your money on the upgraded stereo jus put aftermarket equipment in

Your attitude towards cyclists is what gives drivers in cars like this a bad name. A lot of top racing drivers and petrol heads I know are keen cyclists too. I’ve had a few ST’s and still have one but also cycle as do friends with RS’s and super cars. I did like driving the orange ST3 though but as a commuter is was far too juicy, but the stock performance was impressive.

That's a tough one, but being a ford man myself I would take ST

ST all the way Vauxhalls are shit you wouldn't get many VXRs with 102,000 on the clock and still running good

Had both and its st all the way . Vxrs are cheap and would never have another one . Actually looking at getting another st next

had 2 vxr love them but so unreliable turbos valve stems gearboxes. have 07 st with 320 revo map . awesome has 89k had it 18 month and only broke a driveshaft.
