Nice to find another who loves the AJS brand , i ride a '65 AJS 16 that i had restored in 2015 . I recommend you read "Real Classic" magazine [UK} , the editor , Frank Westworth , is also a big fan off AJS and Matchless motorcycles . He used to write for the owners club magazine in England , and has several models in his shed . He has some tales to tell .

Yes Dave is passionate about the AJS brand, pretty sure he’d already be aware of Real Classic magazine, I think we can get that one here in Australia. Thanks for checking out our channel

One of my friends bought a Matchless 650 basket case back in the early 70s. When we started sorting out all the parts we discovered it was missing half the crankcase.

Congrats on that restoration and many others no doubt. I wish I still had my 71 Norton commando, what a dumb thing to do, selling it to buy a car !! Stupid me 😂 I still regrets it every day.

Selling a bike? What? That’s not a concept I’m familiar with. And a 1971 Commando also, nooooooooooo……
