Great video ! Trains have owned Schuyler St for about 150 years now, I do believe. About time they had a memorial birthday celebration.

I think so, too, and 3040 ought to be something of a local celebrity by now. He has traveled the streets of Utica for a long time and not a single mishap.

Depends on the type of operation. Switching is different as opposed to a mainline freight run thru at speed.

As always a treat to see them toddling down the street. The Shadow from some of the wires looks like rails on the pavement. Seeing the Estes truck on the right shows a much better meeting between Truck and Train. Last week NW of the Twin Cities BNSF derailed a fair number of containers out.amongst the corn stalks and dead center in the aerial view of the wreckage you'll see about 5 Estes containers strewn about the wreckage. Some heavy duty humidity today in Milwaukee

Man, i used to think it was bad that my first apartment was next to a railroad crossing and the same tracks Amtrak used.

Those tracks belong elsewhere. That is not right at all. Unfair and unsafe to the residents. Railroad officials welcome to reply.

Just like the trains that run through the towns and villages down *"South"* The Railroad and tracks was there first and then they built the towns and villages and cities around the tracks. They don't run straight through all the city of "Utica" , like they do down #South though. Notice this one was going into a railyard and the road came to a *T* . Back in the horse-and-buggy days. Those tracks was not a problem. The Trains back then was a boom to the economy, something for the Lucky #Mayor to boast about. 🎉 But not so much in our modern era, *_"they look _**_#Horrendous_**_"_* 😮 Of course , the people there can always _~move"_ ➡️
