I have pulled out the package envelope the free with subscription to MCN to see if it’s ok for Lithium batteries on the motorcycle. So looks higher specs from my Optimiser 4.

Can't believe they got y'all on lockdown for that long😫😢 that sucks man! And I heard those cats trying to get some camera time LOL🤣

Yes it’s pretty bad over here. I’ve only been out once since Xmas and that was for a Covid funeral. Usually I ride 12 months a year. Not complaining, just explaining why the bike is square wheeled just now. Hopefully we get free at Easter 👍 You are right about the cats - camera hoggers! 😂 🐱

Thanks for that video, The TM lead that comes from the 3X into the bike socket, is it Male or FeMale please? I have ordered one but not got it yet. I need to buy an adapter for my Triumph Din plug and I need to know to buy din to male or din to female if you know what I mean. Thank you.

I don't use it that way. I just attached the supplied lead to the battery and leave it under seat. The connection on the Optimiser end is a 2 pin male type with the lever/hook on it. I got 2 plug in leads with it. One with eyes for battery bolts, one with crocodile leads. I get what you want to do, it should be straightforward if you can find matching lead, or make one up. Many people just zip tie the lead from the battery somewhere easy to access and use that. Good luck 👍

@@CodgerBiker thank you sir. So the bike end is a two pin male?
@CodgerBiker Жыл бұрын
Apologies looking at it again, the optimiser end is a two pin male type with the hook/lever on it. The other leads are female. Round/square for polarity. I hope that is clear, they are white. If you email me channelname(at)gmail.com I'll send you close up pics.

Does yours go Into standby mode after it's finished?

From memory it goes into Monitoring, it checks every hour if charge required - I think. Not used it this year 👍

It won't even start to charge my battery (weak blinking) 6.6 V. What can I do? Any ideas?
@CodgerBiker3 жыл бұрын
Has battery been left a long time? It might have dead cells. Most likely need new battery. You could remove it from bike and try slow trickle charger to see if it recovers. Is the bike charging the battery? How did the voltage get so low?
@ebacTePiS-owskie_smiecie3 жыл бұрын
@@CodgerBiker GPS tracker caused it. The bike wasn't used for a month when I got sick.
@CodgerBiker3 жыл бұрын
Guessing then it has been discharged for a while. I would try a gentle trickle charge for a day, and see if it recovers. If the cells are dead, then a new battery might be only option and in future leave the Optimiser on when not in use to keep it charged.
