Are you saying then that for classics it’s essential to write something about The Aeneid or The Iliad in your ps

I guess nothing is essential but if you have done Latin or Greek A level those two respectively would definitely be the first thing I would think about trying to include in some regard. Which actual Classics course are you applying for?

@@Sam.Kramer Ah I see.. wanted to ask about applying for the second time but I suppose it makes no sense to apply again if you didn't even get an interview the first time around.

No that's not necc true at all. Classics interview 97% so there was no achievement. Request feedback and see what they say, do you feel it was the LNAT? If so, definitely changeable. If it was predicted grades, similar if you get better grades for real. If it was something like GCSEs, probably nothing you can do about it now. But most of the time it is something changeable for sure

@@Sam.Kramer I don't think there is anything wrong about my grades - they are probably as good as any grades can get. It doesn't make a lot of sense if it was LNAT cos for all the practice tests I did, I scored much higher than the majority of the candidates who were offered places by Oxford in previous years - unless the statistics provided by the mock Lnat website is inaccurate... And yeh, I have requested feedback and will slam them a GDPR SAR to see what has been said about my application... Someone says to me I had too much commercial law firm experience and Oxford dons despise that...
