I don't have an idea if i use a detail sentence to my friend so that's made me not fluent in speak..,. Hei what should i do ?? Is it right to avoid the detail thing makes you sound naturelly and become a native?? Question 2 is it right if american or english people not always detail in explane something!! Please answer my quetion sorry if use not correctly word cause i still learn
@Oxfordonlineenglish15 жыл бұрын
Hi Suryani. If the detail is not necessary for the listener to still understand the meaning, then it's more common for native speakers to leave that detail out. However, it depends on the situation. Hope that helps!

Doesn't matter which language you speak , you should be able to speak both vaguely and specifically because sometimes vaguely speaking becomes irritating. I recommend learn Meta model of NLP

Does It encourage to use vague English in IELTS exam?
@Oxfordonlineenglish14 жыл бұрын
Hi there, good question. You can use vague language from part 2 to be more polite in the exam if needed. The language in parts 1 and 3 are more conversational and could be used, but only if you've forgotten a word or if being vague can help your answer. Hope this helps you!

Using "filler" words or phrases could also be considered, you know, vague language? I use this a lot to sound more natural, phrases such as: you know, I mean, and so forth.
