Be glad you don't have a 2014 Korsar vest, I own one, one of the first that the Ukrainian army received to fight in ATO - and it is an absolute tragedy. The material is shining, the velcro (from the garment industry) refused to serve after the first day, the molle on the vest behave similarly, letting threads down at the edges. Also from this kit i have a first aid pouch which is held by velcro (having somewhere around 30% of its original strength) and one last tooth in the latch. The elastic in the mag pouch breaks when trying to pull the magazine out too fast. Fearing further damage, I tossed it in the bottom of the closet. An interesting piece of history, but a tragic experience.

That's actually how the most of them looks like. I don't know where the hell did Oxide get this really nice one, but when I served in ukranian army all of the Korsars were shitty and Temp-3000 plates were breaking apart. You are sorely mistaken. "Egg cartons" is polymer which holds ERA in this soft blocks, makes them rigid, while retaining flexibility. Similarity between polymer and filler of soft ERA blocks is superficial. SU have GPS just in case of jamming their navigation systems based on glonass. This is common practice in Syria when you could find western fighters with glonass navigators attached in cockpit.

@@unholyknight786 Mate I know what Relikt looks, it's somewhat similar looking to egg cartons sure. However they are distinct enough to differentiate the two. It was egg cartons, nothing more then extreme courrption among higher individuals in the RU armed forces. Possibly a bit of incompetence too but you can never escape it. Yes they have designed and still own the rights to glonass, doesn't change the fact they are using commercial gps units. (Funny thing glonass is relatively common in commercial gps units) Within they're premier SU-27's and SU-33's, fuck they can't even figure out how to turn there transponders off.

Malyuk is desirable? From what I read before the war started, it seemed to be of questionable quality at best. With claims by the manufacturer (IPI) such as 'more accurate' and 'longer barrel life' (using the exact same barrel as the AK74) which I find tough to believe. Only the typical bullpup advantage of being shorter applies, but at the cost of reduced ergonomics (no matter how much marketing IPI throws at it pretending its more ergonomic) and very likely a worse trigger than the standard ak (as virtually all bullpups suffer from this due to the long actuation rod). Honestly the design seems to be extremely lacking compared to more modern bullpup designs such as the VHS-2, MDR, F2000 and Tavor, but also to older bullpup designs such as the FAMAS which all at least feature a way to change the ejection port and have ambi controls. Seems to be one of those rifles made to look modern, but not actually perform modern. Anyone can slap a set of plastic covers on a rifle and make it look cool and futuristic, but actually embedding modern features is a whole other ball game.

Desirable is about what is needed at instant T, is the Mosin Nagant Obrez a stupid idea? Yes, yes it is, but at the time they lacked "concealable pistols" so that did the trick and so were desired, same with the French resistance in WW2 using files to be able to loads .45 ACP bullets in their 1873 service revolver made for black powder, was it dangerous? yes, but it's that or getting caught by the gestapo empty handed, so they were desirable.

Otherwise they wouldn't be indiscriminately bombing, shooting and blowing up civilian buildings along with hospitals and schools. And if he surrenders, all it would do is give other-minded dictators around the globe the greenlight to pull these sort of stunts. We know China is eyeballing Taiwan.
