Egbert's love of food and -1 wisdom takes him far in these adventures. He was the catalyst for the chef's villain origin story and he didn't even realise it. Gotta love that chaotic scaly boy.

@@DrakeAurum is it "defending" when he tried to cut Egbert's stomach open to retrieve his meat?! What non-villain would even consider disemboweling someone over _food_ that's already gone?! He tried to cut our scaly boy open so that he could re-use the meats that were already partially chewed and swallowed?! Nah, that's some villain shit right there. If he wanted reimbursement he could have made Egbert clean dishes for the rest of his life 😂

It also apparently didn't cross the chef's mind that if he's really intent on getting those meats back (disgusting as that would be) there are non-lethal options. He could have tried to reason with Egbert and talk him into drinking a glass of salt water to puke it all back up, for instance. It would still be unpleasant for Egbert but it wouldn't be the pure evil move of eviscerating him over cured meats.

@@dee... Well, we have to remember, this is G'eth we're talking about. This is the same plane of existence where a group of wealthy people toss anyone into a prison for any "conceivable crime" (be it thievery, murder, coughing, littering, etc.), a town full of criminals kills two men who share passing resemblances to a pair of their most wanted, a town that used an ornate sword to declare someone was fit to rule, and many others. That being said, if a person's first thought to make another pay for eating all of their luxury foodstuffs is to gut them, something tells me that person might not have been all that sane to begin with.

Ellen, if you're playing 5th edition, I'm fairly certain you're supposed to add your spellcasting modifier (Wisdom) to your Cure Wounds! I just want you (and Prudence) to get all the healing you deserve. Congrats on turning the tables and casting spells other characters know!

wisdom bonus is right but spellcasting modifier isn't, it's spellcasting ability modifier. without the word ability it would include proficiency bonus such as when casting a spell that requires an attack roll.
