Blitz, Try doing a vault tech type build ... separate different parts by more space than you did before ... corridors with air lock rooms and scrubbers. that way you can pump clean air into areas that really need it and take advantage of the gas and liquid plumbing better. Think Ant Farm rather than Bee Hive ... Living Zone with emergency food and eating area, and a separate power station a 5 block corridor with air locks, small room with scrubbers, and then another air lock, then a power station that creates a ton of bad air, that you pump into a scrubber room. And pump fresh air in from the O2 room somewhere else so they can breathe in there. The last builds had air leakage from bad areas to good. lock them off to prevent the zones from going bad. its easier to control a zone than an entire base.

Word of advice: with any game like this, pause it right off the bat while you're looking around and deciding where/how to start building. Time is a major factor; your resources start dwindling the second you start so letting the clock tick down with everyone idle isn't a good idea.

Just pointing out, you really should build a battery early, so your power is stored and your algae deoxidizers can keep pumping at night. Also your research stops when no power is available.

If you keep them running like that without a battery, carbon dioxide will build up way too fast, and you research the wrong priority, it might end up you have no food

Hey Blitz Just wondering - i have having issues with oxygen (go figure) - i have three aglea generators for the oxygen, in the portal room (which i have left heavily open) i guess the fact that is is *open* is the issue here? (Keeps saying *low oxygen* etc - even though the *oxygen concentration is high*) cheers
