Too bad they aren't using the new LIRR 2.0 with my signal fixes. The signals in the old version are complete trash. Really cool project nonetheless!

Yea I noticed a lot of the speed profiles were incorrect too. While I’m curious as to whether the route can be updated to the 2.0 standard, I also suppose that it doesn’t matter, seeing as the signals and speed profiles are not enforced here anyway.

Your time on the simulator depends on how many people are waiting to use it. There is currently no additional cost for the rest of this year, but that is subject to change next year.

Wow, impressive. I don't think I've ever seen a "cockpit" simulator like this, at least not outside of an official training setting (I think Tokyo Metro has something like this?). I wonder if they'll ever attach screens to the side window as well. Right now it looks like it's covered up with a black screen

There are no real engineers training you, just staff members telling you how to operate it it. The price of admission is 7$ and the simulator is included.
