This really does fit in perfectly to a food show! An awesome upclose look at the Oyster company! Pretty cool of the place to let you have a peak in the kitchen, not many places would be willing to do that! And they really seemed knowledgeable about the oysters too, just the kind of place you wanna go! Such a beautiful display too, it's definitely instagrammable for any influencer out there! That hot dog looked pretty epic too, I'd never turn down lobster meat as a topping!! 😁 awesome job my friend! 🙌🏻

It's an amazing spot. Only the second video that I've done that allowed me to get behind the scenes. Given Chef Sean is an old roommate. Makes asking easier when you personally know the guy...and some of the crazy things he's done on a drunken night 😂. Glad you enjoyed.

WOW! Love that you were able to get the place open just for you. So nice to see the oyster info packets. Never knew that there was such thing as poor man's salmon. Did he say there wasn't a bad oyster in Maine!?!? HAHA. Wedee loves all the brinier ones as well. Bernard unfortunately doesn't eat Oysters. This was definitely like a Kaiske!! OMG yas to sashimi!! That scallop is a MONSTER! Loved that you tried shucking! Everything is just making us hungry! That hot dog is everything! Thanks for sharing!!

I have never had oysters but I love most other sea foods! It's so awesome that you got a private eating at the restaurant! It's a really nice place! It even had a nice little outside space. You always find such amazing places to eat.

@@EmmVentures If you try raw oysters for the 1st time go to a good oyster bar. Preferably on the coast and get cold water oysters. North Atlantic or North Pacific. Those are usually the cleanest and not super gritty or briney

Hanging out with old room-mates is definitely a fun (and often drunk) thing to do! You reminded me of my room-mates from school and college. That map with oyster shells indicating where to find them adds a very fine touch to the wall! Thought experiment - what would you have done if he had pulled a 'silence of the lambs' on you? 😁

I'm not sure if Mason or Chef Nick gets Oysters from MOC personally. He's brought in Damariscotta Oysters before. I'd have to ask. You would have loved that Salmon toast.

It was delicious. I'm actually glad you see oysters as a creature with a soul. Many people see creatures such as oysters and scallops as non creatures. Not realizing that they are living organisms.

Do it. However, get a nice North Atlantic Oyster or North Pacific. The colder waters to me make the better cleaner tasting oysters.
