As famous as this show was, I never understood why the plot was so convoluted, mainly because of so many characters going around and behind everyone's back again and again. Could've been done in 3 seasons. 6/10.

Ozark wasn’t really “convoluted” and the cast wasn’t that big either. It was a pretty concise and consistent show for the most part. You want “convoluted” check out twin peaks or lost😂

This show was brilliant, but it had one flaw: it was so extremely well planned and complex in the first season that I believe the writers were having a bit of a head scratch on how to make all the plot lines converge and conclude the story. Hence the last season dragged on a little for me, it was just new problems after new problems. The ending was very fitting but also a little underwhelming given how many extra characters and plot lines appeared soon before it. Still a 7-8/10 for me for sure

Watched the recap because after watching 3 seasons I was tired of being stressed out every episode. I want to relax and watch a show. Not have crippling anxiety. Always bad things happening non stop. Would have been nice to have a balance where sometimes something positive happens or maybe some dark humor comedic relief

@@LilithsCosmicLounge interesting I actually think Ozark has a relatively small case of characters. Show like game of thrones, dark, the wire, twin peaks, lost etc… have far far larger ensembles of characters with a large amount of plot lines. Ozark was relatively and easy to follow for me.

It literally is absolutely nothing like white lotus😂😂there’s not one single thing they have in common. Yes Ozark pulls off its twist and has a great level of suspense/danger. The plot never stops moving and evolving. Great show check it out
