I feel like it was supposed to be funny, but in a mixed dramatic/comedy way. The lines "you're a fucking beauty", "shut the fuck up Sue" and the ending, Marty realising that whole argument with them saying everything they have done was said in front of their therapist.

Marty can switch off when he knows something is gonna be dealt with. He knew the therapist was fucked just getting involved. Wendy is just that angry she didn't give a fuck either way at that moment. I think Wendy has the potential to be far more vicious in cutting out threats and loose ends. Marty will just allow others to step in where as Wendy will willingly help cut out a problem. Like her brother. Fuck that therapist anyway. Greedy little bitch.

Wendy in season 3 truly was a Walter White impersonator. Doing power-hungry moves and acting like it was somehow for the good of the family. Marty is actually the only one who truly did everything for the safety of his family, even contemplating suicide.

And she also dream of killing her husband too ! And Marty never dreamed about murdering Wendy Davis ever even after Marty saved her from being killed in the first season ,and I also wonder would have Wendy done the same because I don't mean when he was in Mexico and the black FBI woman told her they could have gone after him in and rescued him from the cartel in Mexico because he was kidnapped on American soil ,no I mean if Marty would of started a love affair with Rachel and that's when nosey Helen was around as well and that would have cost alot of problems because she basically killed anyone that knew to much and thought they may talk to the FBI , like Ruth and her dad who ended up being killed by Wendy and Helen ! 🙄😒

Wendy pisses me off as she truly believes she’s doing the right thing while in reality she’s making things worse through irrationality. Marty’s the only sane one in that dynamic actually trying to make ends meet and get out of the mess. It was really refreshing to see him standing up for himself in this scene.

eh but in the end she has better reads, she knew that helen was making a power play and she knew there was a large chance of them all getting killed in mexico. i think if wendy turns it down a little bit and can collaborate, marty and wendy have a good partnership, because even though marty has way more experience, she sees the world differently.

Are you really gonna overlook how she got the deeper into the cartel business, how she made her brother to stay after Marty tried several times to get rid of her brother, how she also refused to take Marty's advice and get her brother to a private hospital etc. This season, she was like 5 steps back and 1 step forward.

Nah. Marty was on the fence about joining the cartel. Remember in Season 1 Episode 8, said to Del “My wife would never go for it”. He talked with her, and she convinced him to. Later Wendy cheated on him, which distracted him, which led to the events of Ozark. Wendy wants to pretend as if she wasn’t the one who started this all and that she was just doing what was necessary, but ever since the end of Season 2 she’s just been OD.

And when she does even somewhat attempt to take responsibility, she drags someone else down along with her. She tried blaming Marty when she cheated, tried gaslighting Ben when he called her out on her shit, blamed Ruth for bens death even though Marty told her Ben couldn’t be there. She’s pathetic.

From the start Wendy only did things for herself. Like the cheating and trying to ditch Marty with all their money off the start and then somehow blame HIM for her lovers death even though it was fully her fault. And then she eventually started to get a taste for the power and actually started to enjoy working up in the ranks of the drug lord while marry the entire time was taking all the shit and all the blame and doing all the work and only had one goal to get his family away and safe and one day get out from under their debt. To be free. And all Wendy did was drive them in deeper. Wendy definitely had some great moments here and their, but overall she was a huge bitch who caused a lot of problems. Marty even almost comitted suicide because he thought it would keep his family safe, once

Something I find interesting is that at the very beginning, Marty wanted more and started working for the cartel to do it, but now wants an escape from the situation he got his family into. Wendy at the start wanted to escape from her situation at the time with Gary, but now wants more and is working with the cartel more to do it. Their goals and mindsets have been reversing from how they were at the start of the show, which is really fascinating.

Prolly my fave scene of the whole series. Both have valid points but when the shrink looked at Marty like bro u went too far cussing her out. It was awesome that he stood up to her but yes she out and their marriage was almost shattered by these one treatment. All in all this is my favorite show out of like maybe 10 shows I've stayed all the way thru and watched in last couple yrs on Hulu, Netflix, paramount this one is on the top
