Ozark Trail Baits | Review & Underwater Footage

I bought every Ozark Trail bait my local Walmart stocks and tested them out. Are they any good or just a waste of money? Hopefully this review answers those questions.

I’ve caught plenty fish on WalMart lures. Not a brand snob. If it works, it works. I won’t overpay $7 for a lure that works like a $2 lure. Momma ain’t raised a fool. If you want to pay 5 x’s the price to catch fish like me, you go right ahead. I’d rather buy beer. Lol

Plastic worms are easy, so I wouldn't expect much of a problem with those, but I am shocked the jerkbait worked as well as it did.

I somehow missed your comment. Yeah its really hard to mess up a soft plastic but my hopes weren't too high for the rest. Looks like a Strike King KVD jerkbait in the water.

Man I smoked the fish on that top water bait yesterday. It’s not my favorite top water bait but it definitely catches fish.

Thanks for the video and I agree with your assessment. I have tried crankbait and lipless. Those lures did catch fish.

Soft plastics on clearance for $1 most Walmarts. Def worth it in my opinion. JT Kenny was pushing these and said Netbait made them

The only Walmart brand bait I have bought was the stick bait and I never even tried it yet once I opened it n got a wiff of the smell I closed it back up n threw it in my "never gonna use but can't throw it away" pile.

I already threw the soft plastic baits away. My body pours his own and they don't smell anything like these.

Them stick baits work I've caught plenty of bass on them over the spring threw summer also caught a crappie an a flathead catfish using the watermelon candy n green pumpkin wacky rigged or neko rigged.

@@DJloudpack3208 Nice!! I ended up throwing the stick baits t-rigged and caught bass. For all I know the smell of these baits actually attract fish😂

I've caught speckle trout n reds with the ozark shudder swimmer.. works great n believe it or not, they are durable

Nice!! I've had luck with their soft plastics since making this video. Might have to do a follow-up. Aside from Z-Man baits most soft plastics are pretty much the same when it comes to durability. Thanks for the feedback!!

Maybe you got a bad batch but all of the soft plastics I've bought all have a very strong anise scent.

Interesting, I've heard they smell similar to Jackall baits. Maybe my sniffer was off that day😂. I've caught bass with the sinker sticks on a t-rig. Thanks for the feedback!

I bought an above ground pool last summer. Told my wife it was for us and the possible future kids, and she agreed. But it was a lie I did it to test flys, and lures.

The little 3 inch or 2-1/2 inch jerks are killer. Just got a 3.5 spot in creek here in town on family property. That is not all probably caught 5 in a day . They are just great baits Fishing is like anything. Give Hendrix a fender squire a $200 guitar or a custom strat valued at 3,000. The talent is within. Yes, there are better baits than some . But labels are fads and come and go. Next $10 lure that comes out people will rave about it. And it will burn out . I will have a box of 3-5 dollar killer lures .. Watch the fishing machine

I’m 15 and work a small job at a gas station, when I do get my pay check it’s not a lot however ozarktrail makes really cheap shit so I try them out and I’ve caught more fish on ozark than googan at lakes and ponds

The smaller jerk bait you had is amazing, I throw under trees with it and work it as a crank bait and I’ve caught atleast a dozen 2-3 pounds with it

I bought the same assortment pack and last night on the sexy shad colored crank bait cought 23 large mouth in about an hour and a half

Yep, they're definitely bottom shelf baits. I did have a hard time finding the popper I chucked into the yard 😂.
