Definitely want more. I have a dozen whopper ploppers but I bought a 5 pack on Amazon for about 15-20 bucks. Definitely gotta use lighter tackle or just back your drag off if you're using heavier line with baitcasters or they'll break. Don't ask how I know. Keep the penny lure videos coming!!!

I bought a 5 pack of those propers on Amazon for $20. When I got them, two of the tales were the wrong colors (not matching body). I went a week long trip with the family, put two in trees (on me), but the perch style was A CHAMP. Great Action, great sound. Got tones of blow ups, and landed by Summer PB with a sold 3lber. Worth every penny!

Hey bro! I found a sight that sells high end lure blanks and I ordered quite a few different ones including some whopper ploppers. I build high end plastic models in the off season and airbrush them to keep my mind and hands busy a key to fight the PTSD. I’m going to see if I can do some fire crazy paint jobs on them to whack some giant Sally’s! If they turn out halfway decent I’ll send ya one. Hoping they are good enough to sell on the ol eBay. Much mcluvin the video! Got a tip for all the whopper plopper style baits that can help. I put a small O-ring and a barrel swivel on the front to keep it from "torpedoing". I have the original Whopper Plopper, Ozark Trail ploppers (Walmart brand) and the Berkley Choppo. Give the Berkley a try! It has a deeper cut tail rotor blade and causes a heavier thumping sound. I usually use them right before the sun comes up or at night. Caught a couple really good ones! Hope this helps and wish you the BEST! (P.S. Just a crazy challenge for you to try that I tried and failed ....Buy a bag of red Twizzlers and wacky rig, texas rig...see what the candy can catch!)

I bought a pack of these, i like them alot. they work well and if you lose it or break it off, you definitely don't feel horrible about it. But you definitely paid 5 bucks for that lure cause of shipping. Technically not a penny lure. a 5 pack can run about 11 bucks with prime shipping.. worth having, and maybe if you got kids letting them beat on the cheap lures

They are cheap, tails fall off ,but I've caught a dozen large mouth,and missed probably 4 ,they aren't to bad if you don't care losing them.Up in Canada on Amazon on those lures,cheesy,low class imitation, but still works

I have 4 of these and 2 of the real whopper plopper and my cheap ones are called the "cheater baits" they work and have never broke and I've caught hundreds of fish. Mine is so scratched and beat up but just makes it work better lol. 100% stand behind these cheap ones.

Just a heads up last year I ordered these. Lose a 4.9lbs bass on one bc rear split ring stretched out. I only know bc it was my small farm pond and I Caught the bass the next morning with the hook in it still. Still have the pics lol
