I can see where this would be useful. We are charcoal people but open flames like that with the food close would definitely burn the meat. The tripod setup would definitely allow you to regulate the heat temp

Absolute! We do a ton of camping and cooking on open flames. This is definitely a necessity for us. Having the ability to control the heat via raising and lowering the tripod is a must for many of the meals that we cook. Thanks for viewing👍🏼

The only thing that sucks about this the chains are pretty weak You can't put to a cast iron skillet on it
