Sarah …I am so impressed with the way that you and all your siblings have taken care of business while Mom is away helping Dad. How amazing to jump right in and do whatever needs done. Does any of you guys know the best home treatment for a eye infection in a kitten we have a new family member that we named Oreo she’s black on top white in the middle and black on the bottom her eye is really swollen and sore she found us we were not looking for a cat right now but the lord told me to take her so I did she’s very sweet and loving my son loves her already but I am trying not to go to the vet till we’ve got our checks the first of the month but if she doesn’t get better please pray that I find a vet who will work on a sliding scale

I use vetericyn plus antimicrobial gel for felines. It is over the counter. I think tractor supply would probably have it or pet smart. I ordered mine from Chewy. If the infection is not bad, it might clear it up or at least tide you over until pay day.
