I believe the manufacturer specifies 5ah batteries for this saw.

Must have updated as I use 2x 4a/h batts. The 3a/h work as well but for not as long.

I just returned one of these after 2 days. For some reason the saw would simply stop or stall while cutting and only start after multiple flicks of the trigger. Took it back and bought the small 2 stroke which blitzed the same job without a hitch. 1 month later after thinking about the issue with this electric chainsaw - it could have been a voltage a imbalance between the 2 batteries causing the saw to fail, but what an Achilles issue to have

Bummer. Mine has been perfect.

Can we put 2 batteries with different Ah? I got a 18V 4Ah and a 18V 2.5Ah batteries?

You could but not recommended

How much oil do you go through with the batteries you use?
@brookvalleylife7242 жыл бұрын
Virtually the same as a normal petrol chainsaw. If I am using 4A/H batts then maybe fill it every 20 uses, May be less.

@@brookvalleylife724 The reason im asking is, i got it as well and i use a full tank of oil per 2 charges of 2x4ah batteries. Was wondering if thats the norm thats all

Should work really well with the big batteries.

@@brookvalleylife724 The ozito batteries are rather expensive around $100 each for high capacity and given that Aldi market high capacity batteries for $29 makes ozito batteries a complete rip off
@brookvalleylife7242 жыл бұрын
@@Peter-ob6ue If only we had Aldi here, I would buy their batteries but alas we don't so are stuck paying for Ozito ones. Still cheaper than the "big Brands" though, so silver lining their I suppose.

Not just steel toecap boot,you HAVE to have chainsaw boots and trousers,it is not worth ever risking a chainsaw injury the end result of becoming complacent can be life changing or life ending.Also,you should not be cutting anything above waist height,you will never need to if you don't work in trees.

Hope you took it back. My one has done about 10 trees about 10m tall and loads of smaller ones. Had it over a year and hasn't skipped a beat. You always get a dodgy one with everything from chainsaws to cars. Pity as I found it great.
