Ever since I heard careless whisper I was gripped!! George Michael's music is so so soul touching. I can not even describe the emotions of his music. Listening to him makes you want to switch off to the world and just soak into the depth of true melodious bliss and be away with angels. This is how his music makes me feel. The strains of life were imprinted in his music. He had to endure all that he did to give us understanding of how he can relate to us also. The grace he gave was his music for us all to enjoy. I only wished he left us with a fragrance of his expression in the perfumery shops aswell as hmv!

I wish I had heard this in the late 70'w when I was married. I was defiant & had the need to be right (well, I was always right!). I love the choices George made voicing each word with such control, subtle nuances, exquisite beauty. Goddamn, we lost such a talented, beautiful & generous human being. A true artist we will never again have in our lifetime. This is why I still mourn. The loss is deep & cannot be filled. Oh, George, you were so loved & cherished...forever.

I'm older than you, 74, but have kept an eye on him/his career and know that he kept getting better and better. I can't get my head around the fact that he's gone. I can't even imagine how much his work would have changed. I know there is unpublished work of his that we might never get to hear/appreciate....but I hope we do.

I still remember being around 15 or 16 when I first heard this amazingly beautiful song by Elton John off of Blue Moves album. It was the most beautiful piece of music I had ever heard! And to this day, it is STILL my absolute favorite...and I'm 56 yrs old y'all! Never could I imagine someone ever coming close to the doing this song as brilliantly as EJ did. But I have to admit it. George Michael KILLED it!!! Simply took my breath away. Flawless and stunning performance of this masterpiece!!
