I remember the day before the wedding of Prince William and Duchess Catherine, George was doing a guest spot on the lead-up to the wedding. He told a cute story about this song. He decided the week before to do a CD for the couple and this was the song he chose. Time was a bit dodgy as far as getting the release to do Stevie Wonder's song but he threw caution to the wind and did the recording, say if he got fined, he would gladly pay it. Then he found the cheesiest (his word) wrapping paper and took it to the palace. The good news is they did play it the evening after the wedding for the reception. GOD I so miss this man even after all this time. Never a day goes by that I don't think of him. Rest well precious man...you were to good for this world.

I love this song. I feel he not only sings it to a potential lover but it is also directed at his loyal fans. Listen to the lyrics. He knows how much his fans loved him and I still feel if he and Kenny could have worked out their differences George would still be here today or at the very least he wouldn't have been alone that Christmas eve( his mom's birthday). God knows what's going on about our life. True love that would have been challenged their faith : at least he went to see her ( his first love) last time before he was passed. There's much mixed emotion: angry and hates, misunderstanding, sadness, sharing friendships, recognized their similar characters- take prides and control issues, so natural human beings but they have lost so much time, it's too late to starting over again, he told her when he woke up from coma after his heart failure that he was speaking two days straight of western accent (her mid-western accent). She's tearing as she saw his stoma button located at his throat. She still was avoiding his eyes contacts and they tried not to hurt others feelings instead of them. Honesty feelings to let their true and love to be free: strong faith and freedom. They said a prayer together before he left her. No regards for she told him that she'd have been there for him as they're met again though they'd been separated again (it took much strength and courage, sufferings for love and sacrifice that she told him: he have been loved.)... She told him that she would see him again somewhere when he needed her - she had been there in his last moment. (Somehow she was by his bed side. She's holding his hands and said a prayer before he was passed - this happened in her dream ). George is angel now, he's free and is a happy spirit.
