Canon SX740 Vs Panasonic TZ90 4K

I'm thinking about getting the TZ90 as it is cheaper and has better features. I can always change the colours in editing.

thanks for doing this video! I was torn exactly between these two cameras and after reading reviews almost got the Lumix, but looking at this footage has changed my mind :D i much prefer the style of the canon!

I'm torn between these two. I like the features of the Panasonic but like the extra zoom of the canon. But don't know how they compare zoom wise regarding quality of photo at the full zoom. On the face of it the canon looks brighter, more colourful but that's not a good thing if its not accurate. If it's a dreary day I want the pics to look dreary 😀. Still not sure.

For video I feel the Panasonic is slightly better. For Photo's the Canon is the best choice especially when zoomed in.

The tz90 is usually a bit cheaper, got touch screen, a viewfinder and post focus. But the canon does seem to take better photo's which is the most important thing. Although I have read reviews of it not being great with moving subjects. Thanks for the reply. I'll go and have a think and do a bit more research. But the canon has probably gone back in the lead atm.

I ended up getting a panasonic fz330 😀 But I still want a smaller camera and have a £100 voucher so I'll probably get the sx740 for the extra zoom.

It looks like the video the tz90 is more angular than the sx740. Is this correct?

Cannon SX740 has no Slow Motion, but Lumix TZ90 has. Cannon SX740 has bad low light images, not sure about Lumix TZ90.

There is one thing should be taken into consideration, a price difference between Panasonic Lumix tz90 and canon sx740. The latter one is way expensive.
