I being an avid ozzy listener and being a massive friend of Randy Rhoads. Hell, I know a majority of his songs on guitar myself. I heard this song today for the first time, and my jaw DROPPED. The harmonics, the dissonant chords, the scale runs in the solo, it astounded me and I believe that this was Randy’s best work by far, although they’re all great. Just imagine what they thought when Randy covered all their tracks and turned them into 80s metal with twice the tempo on guitar.

They had Dio then, so they were still doing it too. No one saw RR coming.

The split was good. Both Ozzy and Black Sabbath made their best music after the split. Dio Sabbath is the best Sabbath, and. Ozzy's Early solo stuff from the 80s is better than the old Sabbath on average
