Practice, practice, and practice. Did I mention practice? Shows in this guy's playing, his ability to just drop notes just about anywhere He wants while staying within the structure of the song. You can't do that without knowing your guitar. Definitely zakk Wylde influenced!

A few people mention showboating and over compensating. I think they have missed the point. Artistic license is another way of highlighting individuality. It is your interpretation. Personally, I find the note for note crowd pretty boring. Carry on doing what you are doing 👍
