This song was actually written by Ozzy and Lemmy from Motorhead for the Hellraiser movie. Ozzy and Motorhead did their own versions, and Ozzy just last year released a 30th anniversary version that cuts their two versions together after Lemmy's death. All three are great recordings.

Do the decade : 1981-1991 = Blizzard Of Ozz + Diary of A Madman (Randy Rhoades era) Bark At The Moon + The Ultimate Sin (Jake E Lee era) No Rest For The Wicked + No More Tears (Zakk Wylde) Absolute perfection. Ozzmosis (1995) almost makes the cut for some killer tracks, but it's not a start-to-finish banger like the first six albums.

Mike Inez joined after this was recorded. The bassist that wrote and played on this album was Bob Daisley. He was also on the first three Ozzy albums.

To me, this song is what you would get if you combined Ratt's "Way Cool jr." with Black Sabbath's "Headless Cross." Also, Zakk Wylde's first band that gets forgotten was called Pride & Glory, and their album is pretty good. I think it has since been rebranded as Zakk Wylde's Pride & Glory, or even Black Label Society, I don't remember. But songs like Losin' Your Mind, Horse Called War, Shine On, The Chosen One, and my favorite, Troubled Wine... just one beast after another.

I gotta say - despite how great the chorus is, Ozzy's voice is what really pulls this together. This version of the song is just perfect. Ozzy may not be the greatest vocalist of all time technically speaking, but his voice is just so unique, it hits like nothing else.

Sadly Randy Castillo passed away, and I have to say gentlemen you sure missed one hell of a drum solo on this tour, I saw Ozzy 4 times on this tour ...Little Rock, Memphis, Dallas, and Houston or Lubbock can't remember that far back...but Randy was one of the most kick ass drummers of that time.

As a hardcore ✠BLS✠ follower, he’s got a HUGE catalog of music to choose from. Here are a few suggestions… “Bleed For Me” “Suicide Messiah” “In My Dying Time” But you can’t go wrong if you’re looking for visceral, hardcore, metal guitar playing (imagine taking Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen and Tommy Iommi and rolling them together). You won’t be disappointed. Looking forward to seeing a future review. ✟God Bless✟

You could do Ozzy every day for years and I’d be thrilled 😆 This album was really great. Very catchy songs with great hooks. It was much more accessible to the mainstream as well. Definitely a different crowd than the Diary crowd were now listening to Ozzy after this.

I remember hearing Zaks intro for the first time on the No Rest for the Wicked album. Knew then this was what Ozzy was looking for after Randy Rhodes death. Had NO idea Zak would turn out to be such an influence on the next 35 years of metal music.

This is one of two or three songs on this album Lemmy from Motorhead wrote, Ozzy is dyslexic and doesn't write lyrics despite what Sharon's songwriting credits say. They did a version of this song a couple years back that mashed up the Ozzy and Motorhead versions that's worth checking out.

I think what you're getting at with the tech guys and guys like Zakk is the feel, everyone can learn to play a scale fast, but not many can put the swing and feel into a single note. Takes us a long time to figure this out, even Zakk himself has forgotten this with years, but he's earned his keep and still slaying.
