3 Marshall plexis, 2 black 1978 Mark 2 master volumes and 1 white 1959 with a cascade mod done for more gain, randy ran a wet dry wet setup I think like evh( but don't quote me on that) if you would like me to give you all his pedals he used then let me know, oh and the delay is tape echo( Roland space echo tape) you can use the modern version of that pedal to get the same delay

+Randy Gray you don't need the 1959 white cascaded plexi, what most people don't know about that amp is that Randy thought the amp sounded to overdriven, he used that amp every concert but not the cascaded inputs

He never used the cascaded input ? Wasn't that the hot rodded plexi mod he asked the Marshall techs for when they built his white amp ? I think the Roland RE 20 is that supposed pedal youre talking about ?

@fraroc Actually, After Hours was the only professionally shot show. Any other footage is just from someone who had their Camera handy at a show and aren't in good quality. For instance, the Palladium footage that came with the new 30th Anniversary set was from someone who taped it themselves at let them have it.

Ozzy had the worst sound tech ever at this point. Keyboards are insanely loud, RR has way too many special effects going on that I am sure he didn't like much. I mean how could you like sounding like that? RR had such great tone on the albums, he clearly knew how to manage his sound on his own. Why all the extra crap from the sound guys?

I believe I've read somewhere that the keyboard guy, Don whatever wanted to have a much more active part within the show, perhaps that included turning up the key volume

I agree but the keyboard in the background sounded kinda like a mid evil kinda style which I kinda think it went with the stage set the castle theme which I think it went well with the theme behind it Randy rhoads we dearly miss you and your talent Rest In Peace Randy
