I have seen quite a few Stoats in my life. As you tell: cute but deadly. These are perfect little killers and humankind should be well pleased with the little monster's diminuitive size, they've been about dog size and humankind would have been prey. In Sweden there is folklore telling about a Stoat killing a Moose; By sheer bloodlust crawling into the Moose's ear and the Moose killing itself in the panic of having the Stoat eating its head from the inside. Well, folklore tell many tall tales, but from shotgun to murder: doesn't Ozzy bite? I mean go for blood during play?
