Yeah, this is the danger when you have mechanisms in the workplace that require specific parameters to function, some numpties who don't understand how the mechanism works will remove one of the critical parameters trying to use it in a manner for which it's not intended. That clamp won't work horizontally either, not unless they were able to maintain enough pressure against the clamp to keep it engaged. Even the guys taking weight off one corner were risking it failing, none of this plan was going to work, that whole clip is a series of extreme liability with the outcome seemingly to not be "will it fall and break" but _"of the many methods on display, in which manner will it fall and break."_

DF videos are always great, keep em coming Aussie Man! The shattered glass door could have ended a lot nastier and could have been in any Asian country, admittedly, but it does remind me of what happened in my second year here in China: typical Chinese bathrooms, if they even have a separated shower, will have a sliding glass door. I closed the one in our bathroom and the glass simply shattered! I yell out and the first person to enter the bathroom as I hadn't locked the door, is our toddler, heading towards this pile of broken glass now lying on the floor. I'm pissing blood from the arm that was holding the door handle, but still just about to literally run over broken glass to stop the kid when my wife enters the doorway. I swear I've never seen her move as fast as this before or since, snatching the kid up and throwing me a towel for my arm in one smooth motion. Damn that was maternal instinct in action if ever there was.

I live in a place where people build million dollar houses on constantly shifting sand bars on the coast. These people act legitimately surprised when their house falls in the ocean. It's as if they are just discovering to their horror that those stupid locals were correct and the laws of physics actually apply to them as well, despite all of their money. I have no sympathy for them. The worst part is when they successfully lobby the government to spend taxpayer money to put sand back on the beach after every hurricane to keep their house from falling into the ocean where it belongs.

0:25 you can't latch the fuel nozzle on in Australia for self serve pumps. This explains why.
@randylahey73432 жыл бұрын
In Canada and the US the fuel shuts off when it senses the back pressure of the tank being full. It’s still stupid to walk away from it though.
@shegocrazy2 жыл бұрын
@@randylahey7343 Yes it is supposed to do that but you can't rely on civilians to use it properly. Back in the day when most fuel pumps in Aus had attendants the bloke filling the tank would walk away to fill up another customer and rely on the auto stop.
