dying in an accident is not giving your life nor did he give his life for the price of putting these songs out. people need to think about what they're saying before they say it. if it's not true don't say it. this is not something that Randy Rhodes signed off on. he may be totally opposed to that statement. it's not your place to take that away from him and put it there for him. your statement is no fact to be left as history which is what these comments become. fact or fiction? all fiction here.

@@tank47productions-tc2je He put himself in a position where he had to fly and tour and support his music. He gave his life to that endeavor and he paid with his life for being in that place at that time for that reason. How much more clear can destiny be? What lead him to be in that place in time for that accident to occur? His destiny he guided and chose and in some ways had no choice in. Being a struggling musician in Hollywood he was presented with an opportunity he couldn't refuse. It ended up being Ozzy and that crazy life he chose that ended him. He chose his fate but he didn't choose or deserve what happened to him.
@tank47productions-tc2je2 ай бұрын
disagree. The plane crash took place unnecessarily, an accident caused by the pilot, who was being under the influence of drugs & alcohol and reckless. Randy Rhoads chose to be on the ride. this was the morning after a show. this was a joyride. It's not a flight from show to show. He didn't trade anything for it. He obviously didn't foresee what was about to happen. In fact, he feared flying. The pilot first went up with a different crew, not including Randy. Randy was not going to partake until he learned a woman who also feared flying was going, so he felt the pilot would respect the fact and it would be a calm flight. He decided to go ahead on that ride. Randy's musical goals were NOT in line with OZZY. He, long before this point, intended to pursue a career in classical music. For anybody researching, I can tell you the plane crash occurred in Ocala Florida.

I'm not the biggest Zakk fan on earth, but he did RR's solos justice on this live album. The way he played them was 85 percent Randy and 15 percent Zakk, and I can appreciate the literal hell out of that. The recording was very heavily produced, which leaves me to wonder how many corrective measures were taken in post production (like KISS Alive II revealed to all of us about 'live' albums), but it made for an enjoyable listening experience so I'm not going to complain

@Answers in Reality when you consider how Zakk phoned it in on the Pantera stuff, at least during the first leg of tours, you can appreciate what parts of Randy's work he actually DID keep intact here. And I guess context is what I would emphasize here. When you look at the context of Zakk's career and how he kind of does his own thing now, he put more into it back then. Obviously I would never argue that he's a Randy clone, and if anyone thought so, I apologize for the misunderstanding.
