The inserts you want are 'E-Z Lock inserts'. ID thread is 1/2-20 and one just prints around the O.D. Threads. EZ part # 329-820 ,$2.00 ea. These are well worth the effort ! I'd buy a couple with the metal insert . Plastic threads suck and can bind plastic to plastic.
