Anyway, when I already assigned a P-delta function in my model (Elastic second-order analysis) is it correct that I no longer need to do a moment magnification? As of the 2014 edition, ACI 318 offers three options to account for slenderness and curvature in columns and walls (Section 6.2.6): Moment Magnification (6.6.4.5) Elastic Second Order Analysis (6.7) Nonlinear Second Order Analysis (6.8)

Jazakallah...Very nicely explained brother... but i have one confusion, you have defined in load pattern Qx according to UBC97 where R value for IMRF is 5.5 and now you are checking stability coefficient according to ASCE where R for IMRF you are using 4.5. Isn't this conflict between analysis and checking ????

In ASCE R is 5.0 for IMRF. There wouldn't be significant effect for this issue. For being more specific we can change R to 5.0 in stead of 5.5 in seismic load case. Deflection amplification factor is 4.5.

Please have a look at the article "6.6.3.2.2- It shall be permitted to calculate immediate lateral deflections using a moment of inertia of 1.4 times I defined in 6.6.3.1, or using a more detailed analysis, but the value shall not exceed Ig."

Please provide a demonstration video considering p-delta condition. Load combination, displacement, drift and final moment for designing a RC structure if provided in that video then it will be a great help! because no videos in youtube covers the full analysis and design considering p-delta condition.

I will suggest you to check full tutorial carefully. If you assign P-Delta load case then Etabs will consider extra moment for Delta.
