Thank you for this. I have listened to this pretty much every day since my dad (a proud Irish man) died from Covid (despite being fully vaccinated which makes him statistically very unlucky). I listen to it twice in a row while ‘box breathing’ saying phrases to him in my head (‘I love you, I miss you, thank you, I’m sorry’). A kind of grieving meditation. Never been able to focus enough to meditate before, but it’s good to calmly, consciously honour him in some way every day. It’s a technique of breathing used to sort of physically calm the central nervous system. I hope it can go on Spotify one day to be added to my grieving playlist.absolutely beautiful and such a catharsis and comfort, simultaneously. This song has helped me so much with the agonising pain of missing my kind, weird, hilarious, clever, eccentric, loving, supportive dad.
