He was a mad man in school, but a good mad, he wouldn't back down to a gorilla of there was one in front of him, drink got to him a little but grabbed it and stopped it and had a kid and just became a different man. Doesn't touch it now. He was always craic and sound though, never had an issue with him. I do remember being in class one time and Sean my garry who made the minors I think, said he'll play for mayo some day. I think we all laughed but he was right. And he played the exact same way in p.e or gaelic or basketball. A tyrant if you were against him. And you'll notice where he got his ball handling skills. He played basketball since about 6. Anyway that's enough ha. Proud to have been his friend. Everyone in ballina is proud
