In an industry that tends to treat its biggest stars as disposable bobbles, there are few artists who can really have any longevity in pop music. P!nk is one of those artists. She drops by Q for the first time to discuss her career, survival and her brand new album, Trustfall.

People that are slamming this album as repetitive or just not good really need to listen to this interview. I am so sick of people saying in comments that we want the old pink back. She can’t come back, you can’t go back to who you were 20 years ago. And it’s usually pretty pathetic if you try to. I love this woman for continuing to grow and always striving to become a better person.

I love her! Been a fan since the very beginning. I’m 36 y.o. so I belong to the generation which grew up listening to her stuff and following her amazing career. Last but not least, I need to listen to the album once again, cuz I didn’t like it either. I mean, the lyrics are great, but most of the melodies didn’t catch me at first. Finally, I thought there were too many ballads, though she says she just wants to dance. I didn’t get it! Seriously, I was confused. If you wanna dance, why did you put out an album full of ballads?

@@Thac1403 Because that particular song was about dancing. She's allowed to have diversity on an album. One songs particular theme doesn't need to reflect on every other song.. that's a very regimented expectation to place on a creative being. It's not like 'dancing' is even part of the name of the album...

I agree with for me, yes I do miss her more rock-based albums but I am here and loving her growth and evolution as not only an artist but as a person. Every new album she finds a way to save one of us who loves her so much. While saving herself in the process

I know we always talking about Beyoncé as the bar to every performance and performers, rightfully so. But I gotta tell y’all… I don’t think I have ever seen a performance like the one pink did at the Grammys “ glitter in the air “ .. I mean I watch that performance every time I need inspiration, awe, find happiness at the moment, … the ropes… the song… the water bucket… spinning in the air. Thank you Pink. Thank you!!!! You rock!!!! And you are really dope too it seems as a person. I will listen to this new project and I can wait for the video with your daughter I think..

This was the interview that we have wanted for so long - so kind of her to let us into her personal life - it must be quite intrusive. God she is so honest and straight up. I was absoloutley mesmerised watching this, and slightly emotional - hell what's wrong with me! The interviewers eyes said everything he couldn't put into words.

To me, P!nk's albums are definitely stories in her life as she's going through life. This last album, for me, is one that has nailed a whole hell of a lot of feelings. For her to mention that she's not unpacked that suitcase yet about her dad's passing - I still have both of my parents, but my maternal grandparents had a big role in my childhood, and shaping the person I am today. My maternal grandmother's been gone since 95, grandpa since 2000. Now that I'm older - I see the pieces of them in me, their influence. I honestly think her father's VERY proud of her.

Pink is my favorite North American singer. In the same way that Shakira is my favorite Latin American singer. Apart from their talents, the first one is an activist focusing on conveying a powerful message and the second one is an altruist advocating for children's rights and education both globally and locally in her country. No wonder they are still in the game to this day.

Fantastic view point from Pink..a lot of us do live in our heads and miss opportunities! I have many times with my kids and wish I didn't when I was a younger Mom...I feel very different now about all of that.."I think losing a parent is a suitcase you'll unpack for the rest of you life!" Truer words were never spoken....Pink Rocks...don't sell perfume!! The proof is in her hard work!! We see it!! It's all there...Magic!!! xo

Her vocal chords are her primary God given gift from heaven, everything else makes her who she is in brilliant neon colors. She can sing a simple phrase and it will make you feel every emotion she put into it. Love every hair on her head rooted to all she is...nothing less than ✨AMAZING!!!
