This video covers our visit to the island of Las Palmas in the Canaries on our recent cruise on @POCruises Ventura. Today we are doing our own thing in the town of Las Palmas on Gran Canaria. In this video we discvover a local hero, enjoy the sea views, stumble on a very special bar. We head back to the ship, watch our neighbour sail away. erat in a speciality restaurant and enjoy another great show in the theatre.

Thanks Arthur, we will never be in the same league as the monkeys. The breakfast conversation was with pattern makers in a foundry I found it quite interesting as I have made one or two patterns in the past.

We’re off on our first P&O cruise soon. We’re enjoying watching videos of the fleet - we’re going on Iona. Ventura looks lovely. We enjoyed wandering in Las Palmas with you. It’s very pretty. Some of our best days have also been wandering and chatting g to people. We’re looking forward to the shows. Looks like a great time 🍻

We were on Ventura in October. It was lovely and was our first cruise. Booked for November this year, like you, we will be in the Canaries. We ate in Sindu on one occasion and really enjoyed it. There was enough food for us, I suppose it depends on how much you like to eat. The shows were really good, we went every night. It's a comfortable ship, not too big and really clean.

Me and my wife loved the glass house on Ventura .I thought the food on Ventura was very very good everywhere we ate .

I love Ventura, was our first ship so always have fond memories. Unfortunately we had a couple of pretty poor experiences with P&O so we don't use them anymore. However you cannot deny they are good value if all goes to plan.

We hadn't been on Ventura since 2009 and we're pleasantly surprised. If you ignored some of the strange behaviour of some passengers you could have a really great time The staff were all wonderful and very happy

I am wondering if Sindu was ship and chef specific or if it's general on all P & O ships that host a Sindu.

@@KenGoesCruising I ate at Sindhu on Azura and Iona last year and both meals were fantastic so I wonder if it was the chef? Seem odd that your meals looked so small.

Just found your videos and now catching up on them, enjoying them very much, do you buy the drinks package as you are a bit like ourselves and enjoy the social side of the cruises.....also is it possible to put on your videos the time of year of the cruises, we are booked on Ventura April N406......
